Sorry for the late notice but I will not be able to make it to tags tonight. Too much going on and this has been knocked out of the "top priority" list.
If anyone would like to run it please do, I will be there next week to collect any funds collected.
Also, was thinking of making the Bag Tag Final November 7. We have yet to decide a place but looking for a 9 hole course somewhere. Format similar to last year at Cincy State. Details to follow.
Peace

I should be there 2nite. I would like to suggest either Whitewater or Embschoff for the Finals.

I second the two course options, reason is simple. Many of the better players do not go there often. Thus they do not know the course as well.

Funny thing, those were the two options I was thinking. I'm partial to Embschoff currently but my opinion could be swayed.
Thanks for running tags tonight Adam.

Another option for the final I would like to throw out there is the new Karl Von Coldewey DGC.

Today's Weather Outlook: Partly sunny and hot in the afternon. Partly cloudy and mild this evening. Partly cloudy and mild with a t-storm overnight.
Looks like the rain is going to hold off (if it ever gets here at all).
5 at NorthSide Tavern (Flying Pig Sponsor) 6ish at Mt. Airy
Going to try to start as close to 6 as possible tonight
Don't forget about the year end. Location is yet to be determined but we should get this figured out in the near future.

Again, this week we will begin the round at 5:30. Looks like a nice day if you like the heat.
I have run into an issue with doing the final on November 7th. That Saturday, November 6th, looks like it will be the date for the final. No course has been selected as of now so any and all suggestions are welcome.

Lets try for a 5:15 start tonight. Don't want to get stuck playing in the dark.

5:15ish Start again tonight.
We are not going to get a full round in tonight. I will get some cards made up today with what holes we are playing. Probably 10-15 holes.
Next week we will play the front 9 only. November 4th, we'll play the back 9 only.
Bag Tag 2010 Finally!!!
Here's what I'm thinking. Saturday November 6 at Mt Airy. 9:00-9:45 check-in at old hole 1, 10:00 tee off.
We will play the old front 9 based on your current bag tag number. After the front, we will re-rack the board based on your score.
$5 entry fee (waived if you've attended a few Thursday rounds). We will have over $200 to give out. Payout will be as follows:
Front 9, 4th on card - 0 3rd on card - $ 2nd on card - $$ 1st on card - $$$
Back 9, Same as above, maybe more ca$h depending on how many show.
Other possible payouts: CTP Longest Drive First, first loser, third...
All depends on participation.
Please let me know in advance if you are planning on attending. I will need to know who is going to be there by the end of the day Thursday November 4. I will also need to know your tag number.

Gerry, we have doubles on saturdays usually at Mt Airy. It might be a conflict with some of the players. We start at noon.

I ran into Fred last night and he came up with a pretty cool idea.
Because I forgot about the doubles, Fred was willing to run his doubles event at 1:00 after the Bag Tag. Pretty sweet if you ask me. Win some money at Tags, then play a round of doubles.

Gosh guys, is there any way to do this event on Sunday the 7th? I'm going to play Stillwater @ Engelwood in Dayton on SAT. the 6th. We had about twenty five folks(actually about 33 folks) from Cincinnati up there last year. I know scheduling is a tough thing so I more than understand the opportunity cost if you can't. I LOVE THIS FORMAT!

Gerry stated above that he ran into a problem having it on the 7th, so no, I don't think so. It does just get real tough any more trying to schedule events.

Yeah, the 7th turned out bad. I got double booked and have a baptism to attend. The following week is the Lincoln Ridge CCS. The week following that I have some peps coming into town (from Switzerland). After that is Thanksgiving weekend. Just hard to schedule so sorry for putting this on the Stillwater day. The way I figure it, it was 11/6 or 12/11.
Today looks like it is going to be beautiful. Mostly sunny, cool and breezy. Should be a fun day for tags. We'll start around 5:15 again today and probably only make it through 9 holes. Business meeting to follow depending on interest.
If you plan on making it on 11/6 please let me know. I am going to try to figure the payouts in advance.

Last Thursday Bag Tag for the year. It's been a good one. It's getting dark pretty early so 5:15ish once again. We will only play 9 again today. Maybe the old front, Maybe the old back, maybe a few safari holes, we'll have to see how the day plays out.
Remember to let me know if you plan on attending the final round this Saturday. Details are above.
