I think your post spurred Avery Jenkins to sign up and make it 5 in the open division.
I'm sure there will be a bunch more - those touring players aren't exactly rolling in the dough so holding onto their entry fee until they really 'need' to sign up is in their favor. They'll roll in soon enough, we've still got two whole weeks though.

Yeah, not that unusual. I have gotten used to the later registering. I used to get freaked out about it. But most people wait until the last couple of weeks or when they see it starting to get full. But I'm fine if you want to start getting those entries in here so I don't have to do all that "data entry" (that Mark was talking about in another thread) all at once.

Got in some CFR Glow Champion Destroyers this week - if you want to support the tourney by purchasing one of these let me know. $20 each and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity/Innova Rewards Certificate you can send in to be entered into monthly prize drawings from Innova. Proceeds will go to the tourney. Rob Glover did the artwork for this year's stamp. Thanks Rob.

Got a note from Avery Jenkins about looking for a place to stay while here at the tourney:
"I was wondering if you knew any players that lived near the Courses at Idlewild and Banklick because we were looking for a place to stay for the weekend if possible.
It will be Val, Nate and I traveling in the MotorHome but it would be great to have a place to park it and possibly stay if there are places/houses available. Beds inside would be bonus!!"
If anyone can accomodate, let me know. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Valet. Let me know and I'll put you in touch. I'm sure they'll treat your home with care. It would be pretty sweet to say you had 3 World Champs stay at your house! Anyway, let me know or if there's someone else out there, give me a holler.

Unfortunately I have in-laws coming to town to stay that weekend. While my vote went to hanging out w/ world champion disc golfers, I found out that I actually don't even have a vote. Bummer. I'm sure NThomas will set them up nicely.

I drove through Idlewild today and saw some of the new baskets are in. Didn't get a chance to look them over, but just wanted to say they are in. Thanks again to Fred, David Whitehouse of Boone Co. Parks and whoever else helped.

I know that I could put them up but I'm not as close to the courses as I think they would want to be.

Yes, we may not need them Sat. at Lincoln Ridge, but at Idlewild we like to have a few on hole 15.

Played the new holes today and they are very nice. All but one has a tee pad in. Looks like they used the old pads from Boone. Played 24 with longs and it took about 4 hours with our group. Should make for a good day.
Thanks go to Fred and all others who got those in and ready for the BGO.

Any body intersted in a two dollar random draw wager for the open division? I will be doing one this year, kinda simple you give me two bucks then we randomly draw the pro players name's out of a hat. If your pro wins you win the money. Gonna be kinda of tricky leading up to friday since we dont know how many open players we will have. I will start a list. If i get more people betting than pros playing the last on the list will be left out. I will be at Dubs at at bank if you want to pay me then.

Hello neighbors to the north. We have a small crew coming from the ville and was wondering if there is a host hotel or if someone could recommend a place to stay that is between the two courses. Thanks and see you soon!

Anything in Florence will be pretty much equidistant between the two courses and just a matter of minutes to either.
Downtown is about 30 minutes to both courses. The Taste of Cincinnati going on this weekend so there will be lots to eat and drink if you stay downtown.
