How much help do you need? I plan on being at tourney to help you out if needed, unless I decide to play because of the format change.

Ok with about 27 hours left in registration There are 22 pro's and I have sold 22 "raffle ticket's." I would expect to see some more open players register tommorow so if you want a random shot at winning a little money let me know. Two dollars buys you a pro (picked out of a hat) if they win you win.

Note: Memorial Day Doubles is on - keep registering online and/or contact us to let us know you are playing. Thanks to Brad Anderson for stepping up to run it.
Gary, any help would be great. Brad is going to run it and play, so you could play too.
Pretty hard to change the time now that people are coming from out of town just for the doubles. That way people can get home in the afternoon for grilling out and stuff anyway. Will keep it in mind for next year though.

Current Registration List - we have 90 pre-registered thusfar.
Ok, we have a few people whose PDGA membership is not current and I have not heard from them if they have recently signed up or plan to. I need to hear from Scott Schmidt, Jr., Joe Fischer and Chad Harrod. Since this is an A-Tier, all participants must be current PDGA members - there is no one-time temporary fee for this tournament per PDGA rules. If anyone talks to any of these players, have them contact us. If you have recently just signed up or renewed online with the PDGA and you are showing as non-current please bring your confirmation e-mail with you. We can take your PDGA new member or renewal on-site, but you must be registered for the tournament by tonight and PDGA paid before playing.
Registration will be available in person or by phone at Disc 'n Dat until 6pm today Friday 5/27/11. Online registration will be up until 9:00 pm or until I take it down tonight. There are no Saturday signups. Please don't ask to be put on the pre-registered list and pay tomorrow.

Ok with less than twenty four hours left I have the perfect number for the random draw. Therefore I am closing it, in the case that more open players sign up the winner of the random draw is whoever has the highest finsher out of the twenty two signed up now.

Registration for the Bluegrass Open is now closed. You can still register for the Memorial Day Doubles.
We have 101 currently registered, although Tyler Horne may have tried to sign up an Advanced player and left no identifying information. Tyler, or if anyone sees this who knows who this might be, please e-mail me at discnat@fuse.net to let me know.
On a side note, the Florence Freedom won tonight in a thriller, They were ahead going into the ninth, when the River City Rascals tied it up 4-4, then the Rascals went ahead 5-4 in the top of the 10th and the Freedom came back to win it 6-5 in the bottom of the 10th!!! Go Freedom. If you haven't been to a Freedom game, check it out, especially Thirsty Thursdays or Fireworks Fridays - best Fireworks in town other than WEBN's.
Well, I have a few more things to do before I get to try to get some sleep so see everyone in the morning.

24 holes at Idlewild in 90 degree weather is exhausting to say the least. Thank you Dan for taking pity upon me and making us play only 1 round. It was awsome to watch the pros throw while I was in the shade.

Congrats to Dan on yet another spectacular Blue Grass Open!
Big thank you to everyone who helped out, this was an awesome turnout and showing by the local disc golf community. I'm sure I'll miss many people but a special shout out to all of those that pitched in this year:
-Dan Bayless Tournamnet Director -Dave Marlow & Phil Miller for the Trophy Awards -Fred Salaz, Jeff Eades, and all of those who put in all of the hardwork to get IdleWild and Banklick(LR) in such great shape. -Tony Vincent, Rod Angel, & Gary for volunteering as assistant TD's and as spotters during the round. -Steve Trogger, Kenton County Parks, and Boone County Parks -All of those who brough coolers, ice, and water for the players. -Fast Signs for the signage -All of the players
