For those who may not be able to attend the Course Challenge at Oxford this weekend, here's another option:
World’s Biggest Disc Golf Weekend ~ Revisited
May 22 at Lincoln Ridge Park
We’re doing it again! We did do the WBDGW on May 1 and 2 but it was pretty lousy weather-wise so we’ve decided to try it again on Saturday, May 22!
In May of each year, Kenton County Parks & Recreation presents a local one-day ‘introduction to the sport’ event at Lincoln Ridge Park as part of the international World’s Biggest Disc Golf Weekend. The WBDGW at Lincoln Ridge will be held on Saturday, May 22. The fun begins at 12:00 pm. Meet at WBDGW Headquarters ~ Shelterhouse 2. A rain date of Sunday, May 23 has been set ~ just in case!
The World’s Biggest Disc Golf Weekend will be held on over 200 courses across the country and abroad. The WBDGW has introduced thousands of people ~ of all ages ~ to the game. Please visit http://www.WBDGW.com to learn more about the history and scope of this event. Nearly 100 new players participate at Lincoln Ridge each year.
