Please don't buy your discs from Ameristops . They don't support disc golf, they have no interest in dg. DO THEY SPONSOR OR SUPPORT DG LIKE SOME DG STORES DO ???

You should get your facts straight before you spout out with your mouth... I know that they gave cash to the pig the two years that I ran it.

Steve, since you brought it up, Ameri-stop in Fairfield donated $100 to the pig last year and never got a thank you from any disc golfers that participated in the tournament, no thank you's from the td's as well(according to the owner). Ameri-stop in Burlington has donated to Bluegrass open in the past. Sunoco(Marathon now) by Lincoln Ridge has donated as well. I stopped asking for donations from the convient stores because disc golfers don't know how the sponsorship thing works. In a nutshell. They donate money, we spend money at their business and let them know we appreciate their sponsorship.

Sorry ! But 3 of of how many really support dg. Funny cause when I approached some of them for support for upcoming events they acted like they didn't care about it.

Simple solution is for everyone that plays and stops in at these places actually mentions why they stopped here before or after the round. I do when I stop to buy a drink or two and let them know that disc golfers do use their stores.
We have thanked all the sponsors and promoters for all they have done. I will look into seeing if we missed anyone in the past and make it up to them appropriately.
Its up to you all, the players, to help make this all work.
