OK, real newbie question here: I'm an absolute novice (5 months experience, but all 5 tourneys this winter at rec), and have never played doubles. I've been out to Idlewild twice but haven't played the longs (or 24, for that matter). I'm fairly certain I'd be a handicap for anyone I played with. I'd be unlikely to help anyone out. Do you think I should pass, or do you really want a newbie coming out?

Come on out. Its a casual event with all types of players (pros and newbies) We were all newbies at one time...
