I'd be interested in after. I'm too old to throw d between rounds then go out and try to throw d during the round.

If the REC division overall is back you may want to update the information page and scoring page. Players turnout should increase if they know they can drop the first two tournaments that they did not attend and still be the overall winner.

I picked up a green food network towel just off the tee pad on hole 16 at A J Jolly CCS. I can bring it with me to the next CCS if anybody is missing a towel.
Thanks,
Jason

Special Thanks to Jeff Worley for doing a great job as the TD, calling out all the OB's, doing math in the wind and rain....unfortunately with the TD responsability comes the curse of shooting a bad round but Jeff made it his own with an Ace. Congrats to Shawn Fair's masterfull performance in the wind, taking first in Men's Open. Thank you for all who came out and braved the elements, it felt more like the bluffs of Scottland than Alexandria KY. We're 0 for 2 on the weather this year but they say the third times a charm, see ya all in May!

Next CCS is July 16th at Idlewild and Boone. Round 1 at Idlewild, round 2 at Boone.
How many feel we should have longs at Idlewild? or just play shorts? all divisions same layout.
Should would do modified Boone or as it is? Haven't played it in a CCS since the redesign.

If we play all 24 at Idlewild then we should play shorts because of the time it would take in my opinion.

seeing how boone takes no time at all to play with or without the extra holes the longs at idle are totally playable time wise! either way is fine though!

I have never had the opportunity to play either course so I am fine with however you decide to set it up.

24 holes from the shorts during the Disc n' Dat BGO was a 5 hour round. Maybe less people will be at the CCS, but expect a late lunch either way.

Does "shorts" at Idle mean that 13 and 14 will be those stupid two par threes, then you have to do longs. I think you should do all short except 13 and 14, and all 24 at Idle, with the extra holes at Boone.

I think the reason it took so long is because it was an A tier so everyone took there time more .

24 longs or shorts at Idlewild 18 at Boone
Play the current course layout at each with no additional holes.

Playing twenty four at Idle from the Longs seems like a no brainer, to me anyway. Boone though could use some tweaking, I dont think we need to add holes as the round at Idle will take a great deal of time. Holes 11-14 at Boone will probally present the biggest problems, while the holes are stupid short they are right on top of each other. Alot of Hyzers on 11 will end up on 12 fairway and I could see the this area being a log jam. I would suggest making hole 11's tee to 12's basket. 13's pin is also very close to 14 pad, combining these two would make a hole that im unsure how people would like. My two cent's for what its worth, any holes added to Boone should probally be planned for away from the Ice Bowl holes as we are not sure if the fields will be in use by soccer or flag football leagues.
