I was figuring on 18, unless needed. We can have fun with the layout.
Should we: A) Normal 18 B) Centennial Layout, Skip 1 & 18 Play A & B C) Possible Pig idea, Play 1, 18, A & B. On hole 7 play to 9's Basket, skip 8 & 9.
What do you guys think?
Of course, if the turnout is there, we would play all 20.

I'm fine with mixing it up. I promise I won't peak. And FYI I lost a yellow disc with my name on it on temp hole B during the Centennial--I'm sure it is anxious to be back in my bag

CCS Finale at Lincoln Ridge this Saturday November 5. We will play 24 holes the first round and 18 the second.
There is a change this year in the Series Awards Ceremony. In years past many people have stated it's too long of a day to attend the Series Awards afterwards at a restaurant, along with other reasons. Thus, the Awards for the 2011 CCS will be awarded at the first Course Challenge of the New Year 2012. This way all the people who win will have a larger gallery and won't have to wait around after the tourney for the tourney/CCS staff to get everything done.

I would like to thank the club for putting on the course challenges. They do a great job every event including getting mother nature to cooperate 99% of the time.

Big thanks to Dave Marlow and Tony Vincent for running the CCS this year! Next time you see Dave or Tony make sure to let them know how much you appreciate there efforts. It's been a big committment and a lot of work to be the club vendor and CCS coordinator year after year, thanks Dave!!

I also would like to thank all those that have helped throughout the year to make this all possible. This was a very busy year for the Club running many great events.
We also have a survey up on the front page, here's a shortcut for ya's : www.cincinnatidiscgolf.com/Home/tabid/36/ctl/ArticleView/mid/647/articleId/62/2011-End-of-Year-GCFDA-Member-Survey.aspx

I just took the survey. If you can get some 150 class discs that would be nice.

For the Rhyno throwers out there dont forget to write it in as it was left out of the putter option.

Please note that any discraft or innova models left off the survey were done so because they're not offered by the manufacturers for custom stamping....however, it's still good to write them in if for no other reason to share with innova and discraft

Drew, have you given any thought on having Disc n Dat, The Nati and Sweet Tee's vending the CCS? The club can take a percentage out of entry fees and not have to worry about not having "that" perfect disc. Advantages are: Dave doesn't have to lug around tons of discs to every course challenge. We have a better selection or if we don't, we can get it, quicker, since we order every week. More variety of disc manufacturers. The club doesn't have to reinvest their money on inventory(excluding custom stamps). The club would be supporting the local disc stores instead of competing with us. In turn we will continue to support the local sanctioned or any club events with cash or product.
Just a thought.
