Adam, just a reminder to be sure and remove the dirt from the holes you dig. The dirt from the holes you've dug so far is killing the grass around the sleeves.

Fred you are really starting to get on my nerves. If you want to push my buttons i prefer you did it in person face to face. I have asked for your help and support and this is the thanks I get. You sent me a txt the day after we finished the first set and I called you back asking for your help with it. Is this basically a sucker punch due to the fact you continue to do waht you want when you want without approval from the Parks or myself. I thought that when you where approved to lease the building for the shop I would have a great asset to partner with but instead this became just another aggrevation that I don't need. I have been on the verge of bankruptcy for over 2 years due to the fact I sacrifice so much of my time and effort for the disc golf community. I don't even have free time to practice or play or compete as much as I would love to. We need to have another chat, soo....see ya soon.
Also, the park crews have been spraying herbicide under the baskets lately to kill all the grass so they don't have to cut it. and yes they did get in trouble for it. But none of this truly matters since they will all have mulch under them when we are done.

My apologies Fred for my recent rant, got me on a very bad day. I should be by this week to discuss things.
We are in need of a few volunteers to help with installing a few anchors by hand this week. Please call me if you are available. This will be in the evenings this week like 5pm till we get done. We have the first 28 done and 27 left to go.

Thanks John O and Andrew M for coming out and helping with a couple sleeve installs. We are now ready for phase 2 which will consist of pulling out the old baskets and installing the new sleeves and assembling and installing the new baskets.
Phase 2 will be during the day with the Park employees and should be done in two days. I will post later when this is scheduled.

I would like to get out to Goshen to see the course and generally get an idea of the type of grunt work needs to be done. I could donate a couple hours a week moving debris or whatnot. A prior obligation keeps me from coming to help out Sunday. I think I could make it between 3-4 pm if someone wants to show me course and point out the work needed to be done.

Breakfast at IHOP on 28 just off the exit at 8:30 and we will be on site by 10 at the latest.

Course work this weekend out at Goshen, will be working from 7 to 3P.M. on Saturday and Sunday assuming no rain. We have debris to clear from fairways, downed trees to cut up, and some standing trees to take down, and others to prune. So anyone with a chainsaw, polesaw, wheelbarrow, loppers, or just a pair of gloves can help out.

Anyone that wants to work at Airy can spread mulch around, we have 2 piles at the parking lot by hole 14 tee (old 1). This is for around baskets, Tees, and all the tree bases. Call me if you have questions at 513-255-7275. Shovels and wheelbarrows are at the Nati shop or bring your own. I need a few others to help collect the old benches and bring them to the Nati shop so I can pick them up to take them to the Park Maintenance building. I also need the new bench on hole 16 moved back from the tee pad by at least 5 feet or more. Long greens on holes 3, 4, and 6 need lots of clearing work done also.
Goshen course, I will be on the east side of town most of this week working for Andrew and we will be continuing the course clearing work in the evenings, hope to see all those East sider's sometime, where are ya all?

This Saturday August 6th we will be putting together and installing the new baskets at Mt.Airy. If you plan on helping I need names to submit to the Parks Police as a check list. We will start by 8am. meet at the Nati pro shop. People with trucks to transport the basket around will be super helpful.

Big thanks to all those that came out and helped install the new baskets. As soon as I hear from the Parks about when they want to pull the originals and install the new anchors I will post the details. In the mean time there is still plenty of clean up and stuff to do in preparation for the Global event. Contact me or just help out by picking up stuff as you play.

Just recieved word that the Parks can only work on this on Thursday and possibly Friday, I may still do course work on Wednesday if I get a few volunteers.

We will be at Mt.Airy today from 9am till everyone gets tired. I was able to get all the original baskets pulled and new sleeves installed. I should have 12's basket in today and by Monday the course will be setup for the Global layout for all to practice.
We have lots of mulch to spread, and limbs and debris to clean up, and gravel for trails. Lots of hand clearing on old holes 7 and 8, need weed whackers for those two. Please find a few hours to come out and help, call me at 513-255-7275, thanks
