Mt.Airy: Myself and Shawn Marsh will be working on clearing out several long pin greens and a laundry list of other projects to finish. We need all the help we can get, please consider helping out even if its just for an hour or two. Check back soon for details and times.
I am meeting with a park official tomorrow (Monday) at 4:00 pm. This will determine the work schedule this week. It could be Wednesday or Friday depending on the weather. Thanks Adam!!

I met with the guy from the park today and he took me to where we are allowed to enter the course from the top of the hill. The ground has to be firm to drive through the yard that we have to take. With the rain today and tonight I think we should shoot for Friday at 3:30 to get started. We will need to dig several inches for each pad (7 total) to prepare to drop the gravel and put the pads on. All help will be appreciated so that this can be a 1 day event. If the weather is not cooperative then I will post any changes.

Shawn Marsh will be supervising work at Mt.Airy this Wednesday, time is still undetermined and should be posted soon. We need to clear alternate greens on holes 1,11,13,16. plus other clean up and stuff. Feel free to pick up trash or help empty the cans on the Tees or help by tossing fallen limbs from the fairways. A little bit goes a long way and every bit helps.

I want to thank Shaun and Lance Fair, Alman, Turbo Tim, Jeremy Brumley, Jarrod Boiling, Joe (I don't know his last name but he's a great guy) and my son Jeremy. They all came out and worked hard to clean up the course. The gravel did not come in so we could not start on the pads. We will be having another work night Friday starting at 3:30 to finish preparing for the course challenge.
