I'm having a distance league on Sunday evenings at 6:00 pm at the 4 Seasons Marina fields on Kellog Avenue, starting next Sunday June 19..  Innova has approved letting me use the discs that they give me for sponsorship for this league.  So in essence Innova is sponsoring this league.  This is totally new for me and I'm sure everyone else but I plan on running it like a class where we will measure everyone before we start and then throw putters, mid ranges and then drivers for an hour.  I will assign work outs for the week.  Cost will be $15.00 and you will recieve an Equalizer or disc of your choice if you already have an Equalizer.  Sign up at the Nati pro shop or on site.  All levels are welcome.  If you already throw far your imput would be appreciated.

Also, this is only a 4 week league so if you don't sign up the 1st week you have to wait till the next distance league.  If there is a next one.

I'm in what time will it be Sunday is about the only day I have off anymore but would love to see how I can stack up nowadays!

Sounds like a great idea. Remember, this Sunday is Father's Day, so please don't be disappointed by a small turnout. I know I'll be working late that day and others may have family obligations. It's an idea that definitely deserves a second chance, regardless of the turnout for the 1st one. The free disc or equalizer makes it a can't lose situation. Thanks once again Fred for coming up with a unique idea to try and improve the local disc golf scene.

I just want to point out that this is not a "beginner" disc golf distance league. It is for disc golfers that already know how to throw but want to get more distance on their throws. If you have flaws or technique issues please try to work them out before you come because we won't have time to address everyone's problems.

Ok,it looks like we might get a dry Sunday this week. So, we'll try again for this Sunday at 6:00 pm at the fields in front of 4 Seasons Marina. Sign up on sight. I will be at the world Frisbee games in Colorado the following week so Dave Cox will be running it that week. Hope to see you there.

I would like to meet one more time for the distance league to get a good idea if it helped or not. After distance I will be setting up DDC(Double Disc Court) for anyone interested in trying it out. It's lots of fun.

I'm planning on it. Trying to find a location closer to the shop or central location. I'll post here.

We have found a sponsor for the event. The Nati Disc Golf will add an additional $50 to the purse. Depending on the outcome this could be a substantial payout to to top 1/3. Can someone make sure and contact Lance Fair, I'm sure he would want to be part of this yearly event. I don't have his number. Thanks

Brian Trapp, Matt Nichols and I are the only ones who showed up. I didn't set up the field to take the most advantage of the wind so no one broke 500 ft.
