Update!

We now have 18 sponsors from Germantown and beyond for this event and list will continue to grow. $280 dollars has already been donated for the food bank. Thank you to all for your support. I will post a complete list soon.

In addition to being able to buy mulligans for each round we will have some other fun to throw into the mix. Each player will receive 2 raffle tickets for coming out. Additional raffle tickets will available. 1/$1, 6/$5, and 15/$10. Prizes will range from gift certificates, sweatshirts to disc packs. Each player will also have a chance to win a disc pack in a ring of fire contest. There will be a ctp for each card on the 2nd round for a disc. And of course, a 50/50 ace fund.

Any more donations will be greatly appreciated. Please do not bring any canned goods though, money will go much further.

You are now able to register on-line (link above) or stop by Hazy Shade before Thanksgiving and sign up there.

More to come!

I forgot to mention.

$1354 = 33850 lbs or 16.925 tons of food.  shocked

$1 currently provides 25 lbs of food for the pantry because of government subsidies.  However, with all of the cutbacks that are being made federal support may soon be lost.  By having this event before 2012 we have insured that they will be able to stock up before changes may or may not be made.

The food bank in Germantown provides for around 100 families monthly.  The Dayton food bank can help up to many that in a day and I'm sure it is the same throughout the midwest.  So please keep that in mind going into the holiday season  as you count your blessings.  A little truly goes a long way.
