I could be wrong but I was told 5/12 is Idlewild for the Nati's Big 3. If so we can adjust.
Dates have been corrected, Oxford on the 12th.

When the same person wins the open division every year they have to make a change. :)

What about the Sumac attack and possibly a Deuce or Die?

Sumac Attack will be on 7/8
Dave...I dont think that is the reason for no Duece or Die. Nick Engle just didnt have time for it.
I gotta say I feel a little salty about no CCS at Monroe. Now that I am a member of the Monroe Park Board I was looking foward to helping host a CCS. Please tell me why Monroe was left out.

There was a survey a couple months where participants were asked to vote on the CCS courses. The results were at this past club meeting.

I find it weird that Turtlecreek got voted in over Monroe.

The survey was used in the deciison making process but not exclusively. Other factors were consider as well, such as casual players, park traffic, PDGA events, etc....given the total amount of courses, the CCS will have to alternate courses in and out of the rotation. The important thing is that we don't miss out on a great course two years in a row. In a way, we are very fortunate and lucky to have this problem.

Although Monroe is well on its way to being a wide open disc golf course if they dont stop cutting trees down! Hole 1 is just a big hyzer up the hill now. (The overhanging tree that was tough to get around is now gone.) Hole 8 (as most know) is a clear fairway now. And hole 2 is about to lose its overhanging tree (There is an orange "X" indicating that it needs to be cut down)so a straight shot will be fairly easy. Hopefully the chainsaw breaks soon, or they may never stop.

I think turtlecreek vs Monroe is deserving of another survey to determine members' preference between those two courses. I too find it hard to believe that the majority would really want to skip Monroe to play turtle. Did Turtle get more votes? If so, how many people took the survey?

How about Monroe for the 1st round and Turtlecreek for the 2nd? Grab lunch on the drive between the two.

Not a bad idea. Those courses are only 10-15 minutes apart.
Dan, are you thinking about coming out of retirement for this? The Turtle is your baby....

Again the survey wasn't the only consideration, we ran Monroe last year in the CCS and did not run Turtle Creek. In April it will be muddy at both courses but Turtle will be the lesser of the two evils......the total votes for Monroe were 36 to TurtleCreek's 34 with 54 participants. Deuce or Die could be an option this year if we can find someone to run it.
