As far as the Final 9 is concerned, they're great in concept but many of our out of town rec and pro players want to hit the road as soon as the final scores have been tallied which creates complications. If I do rec payout prior to the final 9, it's not fair to those in the final 9, if I do the final 9 prior to payout, it's not fair to the rec players from out of town, and if I don't do it at all, it's a disappointment to those who want a final 9....

Final 9 only takes about an hour.. We only play 1 round on Sunday so were not getting done late either way.. The final 9 gives the ams a chance to watch the pros play.. And a safari 9 would give someone a chance to come back for the win and have an exciting finish!

Last day to order your FPO Dry Fit shirt, images are posted on our facebook page here: www.facebook.com/GCFDA
Anyone can get one, even if your not playing the event, just contact Andrew Miller or myself by 9pm.
We will be at Mt.Airy tonight from 5pm till about 7pm or so to take cash or check signups and last minute shirt orders.
Sponsorships still available, sooner we get these in the better your chances of getting your name or business on the shirts(lower back).
I have a couple possible spotters, can use a few more, plus anyone that helps that is not playing will recieve some cool plastic for their support.
Mt.Airy will be in the Pig Layout this coming weekend so everyone can practice all week leading up to the event.

I'm disappointed that I can't play - it's always a fun tournament. Surprised at the low turnout, remember when it used to fill up two weeks in advance?
Good luck to everyone, except Phil Miller. Screw that ginger dildo.

Pig Update: www.pdga.com/tournament_results/96666
Everyone is to meet at the usual shelter by hole 8 for checkn in/registration.
We will be taking orders for Pizza and Pop provided by Fred and the Nati Pro shop, $5 per person.
Small field this year , All divisions will play same layout, no short tees, unless we somehow get over 70 players.
where is everyone this year?
Sorry to anyone that that was at Airy last night for early check in, we where late getting the OB ready at Harbin.

I left my Bengals birdie bag on 16. I'd really like to get that back if anyone found it...and somewhere along the 2nd round I lost a discraft towel also. Not sure how bc it was clipped to my bag, but it'd be nice to get that back too. Thanks.

I hope everyone had a good time. While it is fresh I'd like to say let's make this a one day tournament and gosh I don't know maybe NOT modify one of the finest courses on the planet so that only the PEDers can reach 90% of the holes. If you look at it objectively the number of out-of-town players has shrunk to almost nil compared to years past. All seven of us that went to Central Ohio to play Sat. said we would rather play the Pig but these two reasons kept us away. IMO Adam and Drew deserve a medal for pulling off this event as I hear Club members just haven't put in enough of their time helping on this event. BTW I have made this sugestion before because I really wish to play the Pig.
