I am going to have a work day at Williamsburg on Saturday May 5th. We will be putting the 7 tee pads down and afterwards play a round of golf. On Sunday May 6th we will have a singles tourney starting at 12:30. Cost will be $10.00 for Open and $7.00 for AMs. There will be 2 separate pools with the Open playing for cash. I will post more details during the week.

We are going to cancel the tourney on Sunday, please pass the word. Work day and the the round after on Saturday is still on. I have had several guys say that they will be there Saturday which is awesome. We will also need several hammers (Larger ones) to drive the spikes so if anyone has any please bring them.

Weather for tomorrow is looking decent with a 40% of scattered showers and warm. I am going to buy pizza for those who show up to work. We will be playing at least 1 round of golf afterwards. Again, we will need shovels, tampers, large hammers and something that will dig out roots (Just in case). 10:00am is the start up time and we will work until all 7 pads are in.

I want to thank everyone who came out today. We had a total of 7 guys who got all 7 pads down today in spite of the wet ground conditions. I was struggling until the calvary came in the form of Adam Jones and Donovan Go. They knew what they were doing and got us on the right track.

If anyone has or comes across any free or cheap lumber like old decking materials and 4x4's, 6x6's, or larger in lengths from 2 feet and up let us know. These freebies will greatly help both here and at Goshen. Keep an eye on Craigslist and other sites for free lumber pick-ups. FInd something please let us know asap, they tend to go quickly.

Whats the deal with maintenance at 'burg? Every time i go to play there it is way overgrown. Last time there my buddy lost a disc in the fairway, i lost one right off the fairway, looked for an hour and even came back up with a weed whacker with no luck. Is it an issue of the town no being able to afford consistent mowing and trimming? This course is one of my favorites and i would love to see it better maintained. Any chance of tournament being held that maybe the town could make some money off of to help with maintenance?

The town does not do a good job with the upkeep of the course. I normally get a cleaning crew together a couple times in the summer but I have failed to do one this summer yet. I was trying not to take away from Adams and Drews efforts in Goshen. If anyone wants to do some weed eating and chain sawing on Monday evening around 6:00 this week (July 16th) post on here or call me at 513-208-6391.

I want to thank Alman, Buff, Jared Brumley and of course my son Jerm. We got a lot done in about 3 hours. We really need someone with a chainsaw who can cut up a couple of fallen trees. The tourney is on Sept. 30th so I'm hoping to have the trees gone before that weekend. Call me at 513-208-6391 if anyone can make it.

We will be getting ready for next Sunday by working on Thursday 3:30 (Before our 5:30 league) and Friday at 4:00PM. Anyone with a chainsaw would really help.
