From Steve Trauger;
We’re purchasing a commemorative tree and plaque to be planted and installed at Lincoln Ridge Disc Golf Course (formerly Banklick Woods) for our friend, and friend of Disc Golf, Doug Aulick. Any friends may send checks in any amount to Steve Trauger, PO Box 623, Hebron, KY 41048. I will make a full accounting of all monies received and spent to those who send it, contributors will be invited to attend the ceremony, and we’ll mention your name at the ceremony. Thanks - Steve
The GCFDA will be making a donation and is asking the rest of our members and friends to join in and help make this possible.
We are also looking for anyone that knew Doug well to write up a nice short story about his DG career and stuff.

At the Bluegrass Open Steve Trauger held a memerial ceremony for Doug Aulick and simply forgot to mention the following;
To: GCFDA
From: Steve Trauger
Re: Doug Aulick Memorial
Special Thanks to Adam Jones for spearheading my request from GCFDA for money from the club to help offset the costs associated with the commemorative tree and plaque for our friend, Doug Aulick. He was instrumental in the development of Lincoln Ridge (Banklick Woods) and was a friend to all in the Disc Golf community. If you ever met him, you will always remember him. We all miss him.
We will continue to fundraise so that over time, the area where the tree was planted will become part of a larger ‘plant-friendly’ area and a showcase for the park and disc golf course.
Thanks again.
