Hey guys, I was wondering if anybody was heading up any ace races this year through discraft. As of now the closest scheduled are in middletown and lexington i believe. I was thinking about holding one at winton woods in september or october. I also thought woodland mound would be a good location. Just curious if anyone had plans of doing the same, as i have never been a tournament director. If anyone is unfamiliar with the ace race discgolfacerace.com/

Dan from Disc N Dat typically has an Ace Race near the end of October at Boone Woods. Ace Race in the morning, then a really fun random draw doubles "Day-Glow" tourney. First round in the afternoon, second round right after dark.

Hey Dan (Bayless), Discraft announced their player's pack today. Looks really nice! (http://discgolfacerace.com/)
This will be my first Ace Race...do you just get these prepackaged from the company, or can we request (preorder) specific weights and colors?
Finally, will this happen in October (as last year appeared to be), or earlier? The weekend of the 13th/14th doesn't seem to be filled up (yet!). Dayton seems to have their Ace Race date set for 9/15. Sorry, I'm just a planner type.

Cool, thanks Dan. Put me down for at least one (my daughter might play too, but I'm not certain on that yet.
It may or may not matter (I want to play in tournaments you TD!), but The Great Seal Scream (C-tier) is that date in Chillicothe, and the Birdie Bash at Mt. Airy will probably be on Sunday the 28th (Bengal's Bye week).
Looking forward to the Ace fun, though!

Hazy Shade in Dayton is having an Ace Rack on Sept. 15th at Belmont park in Dayton. Just a little FYI in case you're interested.
