I vote for the clean up and use of 17 long, in at least the second round.

The course is still in pretty good shape from the first clean up. That being said, it will take a good effort and a few sets of hands to get this course ready for this tournament. I know this is more suited for the course work thread but anytime some people want to go out and do some work give me a heads up, if work allows I'll be there.

The latest plan I heard is to combine 5 & 6 (path & beyond will be OB). It makes an interesting, long hole and takes away the gimme birdie. Well, that's what I heard anyway! ;)

We have been playing from 5's tee pad to 6's basket the last couple of Thursday nights and it has had mixed reviews. I don't have a strong arm so it's about placement for me. Playing the walkway and beyond as OB really makes the hole tough. It will make the course 18 holes and help alleviate the backup on hole #7 some. We will be doing our regular OB's on hole 17 (The ball field hole) and #8. We will be adding OB for hole #15 (After the down hill basket) to make it an island hole. I am working with Dan on the final layout and we will let everyone know in advance of the tourney. Come out on Thursday night (6:00PM Sharp) and check out the course.

Thanks Rob. Dan has the stamp already taken care of but it's nice to know that you are willing to help.

You can register in the shop with cash only for the Battle of the Burg 2 or online with credit card or Paypal at Battle of the Burg 2. You don't need a Paypal account, you can sign in as a guest. Get those registrations in early.  Ams get their choice of a tourney stamped Innova disc from the following: Champion Glow Firebird, Champion Glow Teebird, Champion Glow Roc3 or a Metal Flake Champion Mamba - the Champion Mambas are the only ones that I know will have some lighter weights.

Talked to Dan and we will have a meal deal for those that would like to have grilled hotdogs/hamburgers, potato chips, a dessert and a canned soda (Coke and Pepsi products). The meat will be grilled just before the end of the first round so they will be freshly cooked. The meal will cost $5.00 for 2 hotdogs including the said sides, $6.00 for a burger and hotdog and said sides or $7.00 for 2 burgers and said sides. The burgers will be JTM's so you know that they will be good (And if you want cheese on them just let us know when you order). We will have BBQ and plain chips. We would need for people to pre order so that we can have enough food and drink. I will talk to Dan about creating a list for this.shout jump annouce thumbsup

If you don't want to buy a meal but just a hotdog ($1.00) or hamburger ($2.00) then we can do that to.

Thanks Troy. It will be nice to have some food at the course rather than going out. Saves time, don't lose your parking spot and support a local. I will try to get something up shortly on the Registration Page for those who want to go ahead and purchase a lunch. Or contact myself or Troy to have us put you on the Lunch List - we really need to make sure we take advantage of this to make it worth them coming out to do it.

The registration page has been updated to include the lunch options: $7.00 - 2 burgers, chips, dessert and drink; $6.00 - 1 burger, 1 dog, chips, dessert, drink; $5.00 - 2 dogs, chips, dessert, drink.

Also, pre-register by September 7 and you'll be in a drawing for a First Run Atlas from Innova.

Signed up and ready to go. I will also move up to advanced grand masters if another player is needed.
