The Nati Freezer "Bow"l is a fund raiser for "Save our shelter, dogs" who we adopted Baxter from a year and a half ago. It's a fund raiser for our furry friends. Baxter was one day away from being put down when Ben and Cayla(the local representatives for save our shelter dogs) were in the Kenton county dog pound to pick up another dog and saw Baxter. They felt sorry for him and decided to pick him up as well. We had recently lost our long time pal Maggie so we were ready for another dog. We weren't ready for Baxter but we got him any way. If you have met Baxter you know he still has some issues but he has really come a long way.
The Freezer "Bow'l" will be a one round doubles best shot format. Jan 4 at Mt Airy and Feb 1 at Idlewild. Several divisions will be offered with $5.00 from each entry fee going to Save our shelter, dogs foundation. If you have a dog you are welcome to bring it as long as he/she is well behaved. Hope you can make it. More info to come.

As always thanks to all clubs and individual TD's for working together to get this out early each year.

Will the CCS at AJ Jolly be moved since the course is getting completely moved?

I wouldn't think the course will be moved that quickly, would be awesome if the current course stayed til the new one is ready and could just move the baskets across the lake.

I appreciate all the hard work that goes into the scheduling of something like this. I am glad to see Gully included but don’t understand why Hueston Woods is left out again. Hank and a lot of others have put a ton of work into that course over the years and it is just as established as Goshen, AJ jolly seems up in the air if it will even be ready. Just wondering.

hueston is prob not being added due to it being so far away. as for the jolly comment i have no clue what you even mean? unless your talking about the future new jolly ? which will not happen for a long time...

I was referring to the comment above about Jolly:

I wouldn't think the course will be moved that quickly, would be awesome if the current course stayed till the new one is ready and could just move the baskets across the lake.

Maybe I misunderstood the process and there is no question of the course being ready.

I asked about this last year and the response was:

Hueston will not be on this year’s CCS but it could for next year, myself and others need to visit the course and see how it is progressing and I have been communicating with Hank on this also.

As for Hueston being far away, I guess it depends where you are from. I live near Harbin so Jolly, Goshen and Williamsburg are further away for me. Hueston is also about 5 minutes from Oxford and we held a CCS there almost every year.

Sorry you must have misunderstood my comment, the course at AJ will be untouched by the time April rolls around. Fred has been asked to move the course this will be a process, nothing envolving government is fast. We will probally be playing the lake course at aj for the next year. Isnt it awesome we have so many good courses to choose from? They cant all make the cut.

We certainly are blessed with many great courses, I have family in Indy and they wish they had this kind of problem! 5 out of 9 are the same every year and as new as Goshen is it has been in the last 3 in a row. I would love it if we could mix it up a little more.

You've got two dates listed for the Riverside Drive in April. That event will be on 4/19

I noticed that, this is copied and pasted from the master list on the Facebook SW Ohio disc golf page. I will check with Erke and let him know. It is listed on C-Bus site forums under the 2014 events schedule thread as "04/19/14 C pro/am Riverside Drive Columbus/Griggs DGC". Not sure why the 4/12 one is there, just a typo probably. Updating the list, thanks bud.
