I found out that Disc n Dat along with some other businesses in the area were broken into over the weekend. Property damage and some money were taking from Dan's store. I would like to throw a quick fundraiser for Dan this Sunday (July 13th) at Boone Park. It will be a BYOP doubles tourney with all the money raised going to Disc n Dat. I will supply the discs for the payouts (No cash will be giving out) but everyone will receive at least one disc for participating. $20.00 per team and the tourney format will be as follows: Holes 1 thru 6 Best Shot, Holes 7 thru 12 alternate shot and Holes 13 thru 18 will be worst shot. We will play two rounds and we will start the second round as soon as the last card is turned in. Teams will start the second round at the same hole that they started the first hole on. We will total up the scores after the second round and give out the discs immediately. Dan does not know that I am doing this (Until he reads this post or someone tells him) so come out and help one of our disc family members.

The weather is looking good for this as of Friday morning. Rain is expected later in the day so we should stay dry. If you do not have a partner show up anyway and we will get you a partner. I have had a couple of people tell me that they are going to be there without a partner so we will match up players according to skill.

Excellent! I'll have a chance of being partnered up with someone who has skills. (Maybe it'll be Liam Neeson!)

Maybe Richard Wysocki will be your partner.

Thanks for the event (Troy, Brenda & Jeremy): I was very pleased with my partner, and continue to be amazed at Ison generosity. I'll go ahead and speak for all those who participated, when I say thanks for the great time!

I want to thank those who attended the fund raiser. We raised $100.00 with a total of 10 people playing. Jeff Armstrong and Jeremy Ison tied for 1st place with Dave Marlow and Phil Miller shooting a 95.
