I know I asked for this last year and the weather wouldn't allow it but...any chance of using long carl and long 17 for this tourney? I will clean them up if there is any interest in using them.

Talked to Dan today and we are going to have a chili cook off for lunch. Anyone that brings chili will have a chance to win a mini basket from Disc n Dat. Call and let me know that you are entering the contest so that I can plan accordingly. Contestants should bring in a "POT" of chili and after the first round the 3 judges will taste each. All players will be able to eat the chili's during the lunch break so you don't need to bring your lunch. I will supply all the bowls and spoons. All players bring your own beverage to drink.

The winner of the mini basket will be for the best tasting chili but we will also have a contest for the hottest chili. The prize for that will be announced before the tourney. Let me know which category that you want to enter your chili into before the tasting and also so that I can separate the chili so that players will not accidentally eat something that they are not expecting.

John Schengber came out to the Burg last night (Tuesday) and cut up the tree that fell on #8. He also cut down some dead trees (Safety issues for players) and cleaned up a couple of fairways. I will be working on the course this next week to get it ready for the tourney. Remember to call, PM or email me if you want to enter the chili contest. So far I have 3 contestants.

I would like to thank Alman for putting the OB lines and drop zones in. People like Alman, John Schengber, Jeff Armstrong and others are why we are able to put tourneys on. I want to thank each and every person who has helped on this course. See you all tomorrow.

I would like to thank Rod Angel for actually running the tourney. He took care of all the important things and let me handle the easy stuff. I also want to thank everyone who showed up and played. I hope everyone had a good time. It will be bigger and better next year.
