2007 GCFDA Summer League schedule is as follows:
7/11 - Idlewild
7/18 - Mt. Airy
7/25 - A.J. Jolly
8/1 - Harbin
8/8 - Banklick
8/15 - Heritage
8/22 - Boone
Come on out and get qualified for one of the longest, if not the longest, running organized disc golf leagues in the country.

Saw you guys out at Harbin last night and it looks like the league is a lot of fun. Does the GCFDA have a Fall League as well?

RBFaul, the plan is to have a fall league this year. However, you need to qualify for league. This is done by a player playing 3 rounds with the league in order to calculate an average. Once you have an average, you are qualified for leagues for the next year (ie. if you qualified during summer, you can play fall or you can wait until next spring and you would still be qualified). There are only 3 weeks left of summer league. Banklick, Heritage, Boone.

Summer League party this Wednesday (8/29/07) at Embshoff for doubles and prizes followed by food at Maloney's. The Fall League meeting will be held Wednesday night also. Start at 6:30. I hope everyone enjoyed Summer League, it was a great turnout! David

John, to answer your question.
1st Place went to Karl Coldewey and Chuck Webb (New league player)
2nd Place went to Tony Vincent and Travis Traucht
3rd Place went to Dave Wright and Jimmy Vincent (New League player & my younger brother)
Most improved went to Karl Coldewey

Its that special time of year again…
The GCFDA disc golf spring league signup deadline is Sunday, 3/16/08. The league meeting will follow on Wednesday, 3/19/08, at Burnet Woods, center shelter (b/w holes 6 and 7) at 6:15 PM.
League partners will be drawn and a schedule will be voted on at the meeting, so be thinking about where you want to play this spring. We have the luxury of many courses to choose from. The meeting is not mandatory. I will email the schedules to everyone.
