Hey Fred, do you have a maddox? I'm planning on working on hole 10 on Sunday and I'd like to get some honeysuckle stumps out of the ground. Thanks!

Adam, most of these "stumps" have been cut to ground level, not sure if we could hook a line to them. However, if you're not busy on Sunday and you'd like to help me out, well, it would be greatly appreciated.

I wanted to smooth out some areas on hole 11, and wanted to know how I could get some dirt. I was going to use it where the field goes into the "green" area and also to the left after you cross the bridge. The dirt could be used to smooth out the big lumps and the steep little inclines. I think the amount of dirt would necesitate a dump truck dropping it in the area where it will be used.

Chris, I may be able to get you some dirt for your project. Will contact parks on Tuesday. Would like to rebuild the bridge on 11 before the Ky States next month. I should be able to get lumber and help build it sometime soon.

I really like the stone bridge idea but there is no way that we could get it done in that amount of time. If you could get the materials I could cut, drill, and mark everything at home so we could just assemble it on site. I played Idlewild last week and remembered that you wanted the bench on eleven moved back so that there would be more level area behind the tee. I think that I could get that done this week.

Hey Fred, if it would be easier I could could buy the materials and just keep the receipt. I'm under the assumption that there is some other protocol that needs to be followed.

Get an estimate on treated lumber and let me know. That would make it easier on me. The parks has some scrap lumber but none of it is treated. They do have some aluminum bleacher seats like the one we used on #14 we could use. That could save a few bucks.

I'm into saving money and reusing stuff. I'll try to get down there tomorrow to take measurements for the bridge and check out the bleacher seats. I'll let you know what I figure out.

Chris, the bleachers are 15 feet long. I also plan to use 3 more bleachers to make a new bridge for 14 long (the one that used to be wood but recently was vandalized). they are definitely durable...
Fred, if possible i need to work on that bridge next weekend since that will be the only time i'll have before the KY States.
Paul, how hard would it be to disable emoticons within a post (and not for the whole post)? it's pretty annoying when vandalized ends up with a beer mug :)

I looked around today but couldn't find any bleachers. I could use them, but I need to know how many I have access to. I would need at least two. I cut up the fallen tree on eleven today and cut down the stumps on sixteen. I have my big saw tuned and ready so if you guys let me know what else needs to go I could take care of it.

Thanks Chris. I saw the tree cut down, great job. I was there around 3:30 I think. I left you 4 bleachers. I am going to try to make it tomorrow afternoon but don't know my schedule yet. Will also be there on Monday working on #4 bridge. They mowed some today. The course is shaping up. Thanks everyone.

Chris, there are a couple of trees on 10 that have had their tops snapped off by the wind. I am guessing we should get those cut down as they could be hazardous. Fred, is that cool? They are in the area that we cleaned the honeysuckle from earlier this year.
