Man,there are more people on this board nowadays than there were during disc season. Love that "hot stove" talk. BTW, pitchers and catchers report today. Daytona was Sunday. Anybody seen the first robin yet?

Well Paul, you have tried to help me with my game. Maybe that will help me be on my way to greatness. By the way the cubs will hopefully sweep the reds in the season opening series. Go Cubbies!!! See you all at Airy!

Kinda goes along with the story about a kid who ate Pop-rocks, drank a Coke, then had to be rushed to the hospital 'cause his stomach exploded. (Pop-rocks: it was a candy that fizzed in your mouth when you ate it) Urban myth? Or true? Don't really know.... BTW, I read that soda is one of the five worst things you can put in your body. (I've already been working with Bob Herbert too long...) It's true, I've seen Coke used to dissolve battery acid buildup from the cables on a car battery. Have you ever left a pop can in the freezer too long? Yeccch. Gotta defrost the freezer and clean that sucker top to bottom after it explodes.

How acidic do you think stomach acid is? It could not only dissolve corrosion ..but also the battery.

Never tried stomach acid on battery deposits. It'd probably eat right through the lead! ;-) Sorry to hear about your troubles. Heart disease got my Dad. He lived 15 years after his heart attack, but he never returned to work. His example got our whole family health conscious. I hate to hear about it happening to anyone. I'm glad you're positive, and ready to get back into golf. I'm sure your friends and family mean well when they say it could've been worse. That must have been scary. I hope you're flying 'em again soon!

Nice webpage, works off ours and also gives credit (totally cool with me). Doesn't hurt in getting more information out there... http://cincinnati-atlas.com/entertainment/sports/frisbeegolf/Oh and I heard that urban myth about the kid that ate a bunch of pop rocks and coke. It was supposed to be the cereal kid "Mikey'll eat it, he'll eat anything" It was on a mythbusters episode a few weeks back. Mikey is alive and well. They also ran tests and busted the myth. You would just burp!!!

After doing some investigative work amongst some of the Masters field -- talking especially with those who played back in the day -- I am thinking Concerned is probably Jonathan Heath. Concerned, feel free to confirm or deny this rumor. :)
PS: Have you thrown the Pro Starfire yet? I am wanting to try that baby out...

That could be, but I still hear a bit of Bob Herbert in those ramblings. One of these days we'll find out.

Have both the pro starfire and the CE version... :) The CE is wall bound but the Pro soars nice.

I hear the CE version is much more stable and the pro version has more glide. If you want to trade yours for something let me know. :)
or maybe I could just try it out -- you free to play anytime before Bowling Green AM's? mornings, afternoons or early evenings may be doable for me...

Yeah a tryout would be fine. Don't know that I'd part with it though.

A puzzle for you all:
What do the letters D, F, J, K, L, N, Q, U, V, X, Y, and Z have in common? It is Cincinnati disc golf related and a fun fact.
yup, Liz is correct. Those are the only letters that are not used to start the name of area courses. That's only 12 left!

OBVIOUSLY, the point guys know more than you, CROW LOVER! "If" the Ravens are able to win the AFC North...? wait till you see their schedule next year! The schedules are designed to help weak teams (like last year's Ravens team) have a better chance to win the following season. Look how "WELL" the Steelers are doing this year...

IF that's the case then the bungles must have blown plenty of good opportunities over the years. lol! the ravens didn't need too much "schedule help" to shut out the steelers, and i don't think the schedule will be given a game ball after they sweep the bungles either. gotta give yall cincy fans credit though. it'd be tough to root for those schleps!

When was the last time McNair made it through a season without getting hurt? I see Boller in your future. Like, say, by nine o'clock Thursday. Carson is back baby. Look out everyone! Paul, I've said it before, and I'll say it again, Ravens fans are so cute.

I mean..not every team can say that they're named after a poem. That's pretty scary.
But to me they'll always be 'the team formerly known as the Browns'..that's scary too
Really though, Billick basicly gave them this week off, and the game clearly means more to us than them.
Meet me in the Jungle-it's goin' down
