On Tuesday nights there is an ace fund held throughout the summer from about one time change in the spring til the one in the fall. There are different divisions offered and I understand it's slightly different from last year. The schedule generally follows the course challenge schedule with the course played being the next one to play in the CCS.

Ace funds will continue to happen at harbin park due to the condition of pride park. I heard it's a little rough. I take it they will happen there until the Pig I think. There was also talk of raising the entry for pro to ten dollers. Kuhns, Freddy wanted it and Derek and Nick long said okay too. I suggest an $8:00 entry instead of ten so you can get even money all the time though John. What about master? What about other divisions? If you read this john told me to post but I thought about some of the other stuff later. See ya later

Fred's gonna do Tuesdays again. I'm sure he'll post his info when he's got the details worked out. There will also be something on Thursdays this year. A new format for Cincinnati, details coming soon.

I was wanting to meet the Tuesday before the Mt. Airy course challenge but unfortunately I will be getting back from New Mexico that day and I think I have to work anyway. So, I will start the ace fund officially the Tuesday after the time change(April 5) but I will be at Mt. Airy on March 29(Tuesday before time change) if anyone wants some of my money. Tee off at 5:30. We will meet at Mt. Airy for a couple of weeks and then move to Boone Woods for a couple of weeks before the course challenge there on April 30. We will try to set up Big Boone when we meet at Boone.
After all these years of trying to get all the same players to play in the same division I am finally giving up. I will have Pro Open, Pro Masters, Advanced and Novice divisions this year. Pro divisions will be $7.00 Advance and Novice divisions will be $6.00. One dollar from everyone will go into the ace fund and one dollar from the pros will help pay for expenses for the ace fund.
I will have free lessons for anyone interested from 5:15 until 5:45 before the ace fund starts. Tuesday ace funds start at 6:00 pm. Distance will be the first lesson. We will practice that for a couple of weeks then move on to other diciplines of disc golf.
We will follow the course challenge schedule until we come to Burnett then we will either go back to Mt. Airy or try Pride Park depending on how Pride is coming along. I will keep you posted if anything changes.

The ace fund will be at AJ Jolly this week and Banklick next week. I will try to set Banklick up like it will be for the tournament. Mt. Airy after that.....

Since I won't be able to get to the ace fund next Tuesday, what is the bullseye hole? I've never seen it.

The bullseye hole throws from up near the back shelter at Banklick, down the hill and across the pond. It's about 380 to the pin. During the bluegrass, the hole has various rings painted around it and each ring has a certain point value. The person with the most points wins.

The Tuesday Ace Funds will be at Idlewild until the course challenge there on July 2nd. That should give us plenty of time to practice the course or quit the game from frustration. 58 get real.... Pros will be playing longs every time. Caldwell bring your dollar, you light weight.

Tuesday ace fund attendance has been down quite a bit this year. If this continues I will be forced to cancel it and use it as a practice day for myself. Is there a reason people aren't showing up? I'm starting to take it personal. Masters division has especially been down. Come on let me have it. Is it because you can't stand to get beat by an old(er) man or what? Wednesdays doubles has been very successful, lots of guys showing up for that but singles competetion is THE best way to improve your game. It's all you against the course.

Fred...I've always got a dollar for you...but you have to beat me to get it. I have missed the last few tuesdays because Karen moved her volleyball to that day. So, I can only make it when she plays an early game (so I can afford the babysitter).
I always try to make it. It is by far the best way to get in tournament mode and improve the game. Doubles on Wednesday is ok, but it's not the same game, especially with the crowded Banklick course.

Mt. Airy. I won't be there. I will see if Matt can run it for me.

Matt ran it, and won it with 3 birdies in his last 4 holes (17, 7, and 8) to get to -3, despite 3 4's. I think there was a 3 way tie for -1. Jason Anderson was on fire early, but a turnover putter across the street on 13 did him in. We could have used your money, Fred!

Tuesday Ace fund is cancelled due to the rain today. We will be at AJ Jolly until the course challenge there in October. See you there next week.

Fred, (in the interest of promoting a good turn-out) this seems like a good time to ask about the 2006 Ace Fund info. Will it start this Tuesday at Boone Woods?

Tuesday 4/4/06 6:00 pm is the start of the Tuesday ace fund. It will be at Boone Woods. Since we will only be there for two weeks I will try to set it up like the course challenge set up. So, anyone planning to come bring a basket if you can. We will need 5 baskets, I think. Traditionally the Tuesday ace fund is where the pro players compete against each other and in the past I have offered Pro 2 divisions for other want to be pro open players. This year I will be offering these divisions again but only the Open division will compete for cash. All other divisions, including Pro 2, will play for prizes.
Divisions offered are: Open Pro 2 Advanced Novice(beginner)
If we don't get enough baskets we will play the original Boone Woods lay out. See you there.
