Something needs to be done at tuesday ace funds.. last night there was 14 "semi-pro" players and 5 "Pro" players..and a couple of the people playin "semi-pro" have won the pro division?? of course everybody want to play in the "semi-pro" divison, 1rst off.. its not as expensive?? you dont have to play against people better that you?? and that is where all the money is?? which is leaving the "pro" divison with 5 people(with 2 spots paid) and no money to play for?? there should be 1 division that is playin for money,i mean thats why your playin pro right? if you combine both divisions last night you have 19 people and you pay out more.. just something needs to be done.. if we need to change it to a handicap ace fund to make it more fair maybe we should think about that..

simple solution don't play the ace fund and you won't have to worry about that!

I thought I had read earlier in the thread that after you won or cashed so many times (1-2), you were supposed to move up to pro. Maybe this is just not being enforced.

Gary, I understand the dilema but it's tough for the guys that play semi pro to move up since you guys are so consistent. If a semi pro player moves up and cashes in the Open pro division than they have to stay in the open pro division but I don't think that has happened yet. They move up and donate. So I'm thinking that they can move up for 3 weeks and if they don't cash they can move back down to the semi pro division and start the process again(3 wins and move up). I'm sure they would like nothing better than to kick your butt at Mt Airy. I will monitor the winners of semi pro more closely.
The ace pot has surpassed the $1,000.00 mark so I have raised the Tuesday ace fund to $400.00 and $300.00 for the Saturday doubles.
