Fred, being that Tuesday singles rounds don't affect PDGA, what would you lose your "AM status" for?
Its at Mt Airy.

Drew, I am considering making the Tuesday ace fund sanctioned by the PDGA. So that locals can get a player rating or improve it if they already have one. Pros play for cash Ams play for product. If an Am takes a cash pay out he becomes a professional(wins cash). It's his option, that simple.

Gotcha. Kevin McCoy was telling me about the weekly PDGA league concept just the other day. Sounds pretty cool.

This would be great. With my work schedule, it is hard to make weekend tourneys to get a player rating.

Handicap league. Ams can win 50% cash and 50% product. Come early to discuss sanctioning the league.

We're still working the kinks out Jeff. 1st from now on the anyone below the average of 54 will play from scratch or 54 average. 2nd anyone that doesn't have a score from Mt Airy will also start from scratch or 54, then they can establish a score for their handicap. If the majority still don't like it in a month then we will drop it. It's pretty tough pleasing everybody, just give it a chance. I think it the cream will rise to the top.

Jeff, the course layout is Adams gig. You have to take that up with him. If the handicap thing doesn't work out I'll be sure and call you. Brian, we are still discussing sanctioning the league. Right now it doesn't look like there is enough interest. 5 people have to be interested and if you aren't a pdga member and play the league you won't be able to view your rating until you become a member. It costs $25.00 to sanction the league and it only lasts 10 weeks. I will keep you posted.

The Tuesday Ace Fund is uncapped. Presently the pot is at $172.00. In the Tuesday ace fund you MUST play 3 times in 2012 to qualify for the large ace pot. If, you hit an ace and aren't qualified you do win the pot for the day. Come and get it!!!
After a couple of weeks of handicap play the cream is rising to the top.

Is there an ace fund tonight I mean a little rain scared everyone off last week I say bring on the rain and the little wimps that is scared of a little rain. Let me guess the course is to wet this week. cant play on the wet course? someone might slip and fall? obviously I am being sarcastic but really guys if that was a C-TIER you would have played through. I will be there early to defend my tag. I defend it 2 times every tuesday so come and get it!!! I defend at 1pm and ace fund!!

There was a screw up in the scores tonight. Bob shot a 66 not a 56(I'm surprised no one in his group said anything). So all winners move up a spot. I'll post correct winners tomorrow.

Ace fund will be capped at $500.00 so that there will be money left over once someone hits an ace(It's gonna happen). The pot is currently at $542. 5:45 tee.

So, it looks like the handicap system isn't working as well as I thought it would especially for the open players. So, starting next week we will have an open division and a semi pro division and the ams will continue to play handicap. If anyone has any better ideas let me know.

I guess I messed up the Ace Fund for everyone. I like both formats actually, But since there are divisions with Ams still handicapped I am happy the pro's are competing against one another now. Fred you have done an awesome job in providing good tourneys and so forth. I will always play your events and support The Nati as well as other tourneys, stores, and so on..... I want to say thanks for the hard work that you put into the disc golf scene and continue to try to make everyone happy that alone is hard to do. I want to say sorry to the pro's for improving my game and winning handicap money, but I thought more of the pro's would be happy to see someone improve after a year of play. I hope to compete with you guys on your level at some point in the future. I guess I am a ways from doing that but hope to in a year or two. Also thanks to Dave Cox for helping with my game and Jeremiah and Cyrus for their help and future help with my game as you see it has made a difference.
