Thanks Rob....
I guess I just don't have time to go back and read through the Dead Sea Scrolls and see how Age Protected participants fared in 1997.
40% of my career Aces have come at Idlewild - that's no excuse.

Rob, it's $16.00 if you haven't played and $11.00 if you have participated in the ace fund. I originally put it in wrong. Sorry. The entry fee is for one event or all events. Must play all events if you want to be KINKY champ.

ok, i edited it. is there anything at stake if you win an individual event like distance, MTA, or golf other than bragging rights -- or is it possible not to win any individual event yet still take the KINKY title?
alos, any truth to the rumor that Christian Sandstrom will be there?

For the second time on the throw-off, I didn't even come close to the first ring! :-( Fred, move it in next year! Congrats, all!

Russ, the target was closer than hole 2's basket -- you reach that don't you? it looked like your last throw that got wet had the D but was too far to the right... plus i don't think you gave your last 2 throws much of a chance ;) 5 throw off cashers were: Hans, Rob, Pete, Keith, Karen. 9 participants showed. thanks to Fred Salaz for a fine event, for the pizza, and for taking it easy on us after winning the golf portion of the competition.

I think course conditions made it play a little farther than it really was...
But that shot was longer than AJ Jolly hole 2... by at least 30-40 feet. I would have called that shot probably 260 if I had to name a number. The tailwind was dropping shots off big time for everyone.
Russ, you dunked a couple, but so did I (2), Fred, Pete, Hans, Jim, Rob, and Karen. EVERYONE found that it was a tricky shot - and for the money involved, I think it was fair.
Not a long shot, just a tricky shot. Thankfully Karen was quick on the rescue of most all of the discs near the shoreline.
Thanks to everyone that came out, helped out, and put cash money into a great weekly event all year. Hope to see you all again next year.

I dunked the first three, and I came outta my shoes. ;-) Thanks, Karen, for fishing out the first two. Once again, congrats to the KINKY champs.

Russ, not sure why you couldn't get it across. We were all throwing rocs and aviars. You should have been able to make the adjustment for the wind, everyone else did. I won't be moving the tee just cause you can't get your discs close. Thanks to everyone that braved the weather(not that bad, really) to come out. Pete beat us in MTA with a freestyle disc. Pretty impressive. Kevin and Hans were equally impressive both running and diving in the MTA event or was that rolling and stumbling. Either way it was fun to watch.

Don't want to derail this any more. Maybe I'll start another thread. Congrats again to the winners, and thanks for a good season.

it is understandable that you felt sunk after that, but i think if you challenged yourself you could park that throw.
maybe you should do it as therapy: borrow a few of Bob's discs tomorrow and go over there after work and get r done :shades
just kidding Bob ;)

Somehow, I have Hans's KINKY trophy disc. I assume he has mine. Must have gotten mixed up in the pizza-fest, afterward.
Saturday was a sad day for my discs - I lost my first CE Teebird (since the World's 2001 in Minnesota) on hole #6 - in the lake. Short of pin high, about 10' out from the big log.
But, on the other hand, I got Fred's dollar - which contrary to the Hokey Pokey, is what it's really all about.

Fred, is the tuesday night ace fund starting up after this weekend. I know you normally start up after the time change. I won't be able to make it next week, but thought I'd bring it up since time's changing earlier than normal.
