Who is playing where? What with all our courses, you could go sometime without seeing other regular players. Post here where you are playing and more people might come out.

I'd say my three big ones are Banklick, Mt. Airy, Idlewild...pretty much in that order.

howdy folks,
i'm going to be in cincy on bizness sunday through tuesday 9/25-9/27. i've never been to cincy and will actually be staying in KY at embassy suites rivercenter. would LOVE to get some local DG action in.
i've heard great things about idlewild, is that convenient to where i'll be? if not, what is most convenient? i should be done bizness stuff around 4 each day (sunday might be wide open after noon).
thanks much

If you are staying near the Ohio River you will have a lot of good options to play disc and most are probably less than 20 minutes drive from your hotel. Here are the courses I would suggest; Idlewild & Banklick(Northen Kentucky), Mt. Airy(short drive north of downtown Cincinnati). Those would be the must play courses. After that you have Pride Park, A.J. Jolly and Boone Woods that are all pretty good in Northern KY and you have Harbin Park in Ohio about 30-40 minutes from downtown. After that the good courses are in Dayton, OH and 1 in Oxford, OH. Hope this helps.

thanks.
hopefully i'll get in early enough on sunday, or come in saturday night so i can get out to idlewild sunday afternoon.
i'll post here when the time comes in hopes of finding a game. idlewild seems to be the type of course a guide would be useful for.

my flight will arrive at CVG at 11:30 on sunday 9/25 and i'll be making a beeline straight to either idlewiled or mt. airy. a local pro highly recommended mt. airy but some friends say idlewiled is not to be missed. i do dig par 72 style disc golf (heading to WVO this weekend WHOOHOO!).
how far are both from the airport? which is easier to get to? anyone up for a round?

anyone up for a round at idlewild sunday?
my flight arrives at 11:30, so i'm shooting for a 12:30 tee time at idlewild. if i can't find a game (a guide) there ahead of time, i might bee line to mt. airy. the local pros have lots of nice things to say about both courses.
thanks in advance.

thanks bryan, nick and paul for showing me around the courses. i had a blast and will try to schedule more "bizness" in the cincy area in the future, perhaps for a weekly or tourney. i think i can knock a couple throws off my 81 at idlewiled, but i don't think i'll be topping my 58 at mt. airy by much any time soon. i got some breaks that round.
