Due to weather conditions, I think I will have to retract my previous statement. Sorry.

Rod it was great playing a round with you and Kevin (and Nick and Keith and JP). For an 11 year old, Kevin is amazing. Anyone know where he could get an official try at his age-group's world record for distance? AM Worlds? Tennessee States?
Also, could he get into AM Worlds this year in Tulsa or will he have to earn an invite and go next year? He said he thought he'd have to wait till next year and earn an invite because they were full???
By the way, he sounded more than willing to consider offers from potential sponsors out there :) He and JP both have excellent potential.
Kevin shot a 76 from the shorts today at Idlewild and i think the sky is the limit for this kid.

I concur. JP seems to be getting the hang of this confounded game. Work with those aviars & you'll improve even more. .....and Kevin, learn the backhand already!

Q: How do I qualify for the PDGA 2006 Am Worlds in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA? A: This information is from PDGA Executive Administrator, Brian Hoeniger: The answers to most of these questions are in the PDGA renewal literature we'll send out to all current members in November of 2005. The same information can also be found in the Disc Golf World News magazine and at the PDGA website, every year: List of official invitees will be determined in late January or early February after 2005 Tour Stats have been finalized. That list and the qualification standards will be posted on the website at that time, but 2005 current members who finish in the top 20% in terms of points in their classification, i.e., Amateur, Master, etc. within their State or Province should all make the cut. All other interested players who are 2006 current members can get their names on the waitlist as of March 6 (after the PDGA Board of Directors Summit), which is the day the waitlist begins by contacting the PDGA office, preferably by email. We will not accept any waitlist requests prior to 3/6/2006 and we will not add anyone to the list who has not paid their PDGA 2006 dues until they do so. The waitlist will be reviewed for the first time in mid-May after the official qualifiers have had ample time to get their entries in. Review of the waitlist is not first come, first served, but rather based again on qualification standards beginning with 2005 Tour Points. visit the 2006 AM Worlds website at: http://www.2006amworlds.org/

Fred and JP and i will be working at Idlewild tomorrow morning around 10:30am and will probably play the course in the early afternoon. Keith, sorry but i will have to give you a raincheck on going to Winton/Harbin. If you want to work and or play tomorrow at Idlewild -- i will see you there. i have to get my gravel work done as the pile is disappearing.
Fred, bring me a blue SB (aka: Star) Orc Tulsa stamp around 172g -- i want to buy another one from you. 170-174g would be good if you don't have 172...

I'll be up there from 1:00 on...
Gotta have a little picnic with the girly first, though. I promised, and I gotta keep my promises.
It looks like people are going to be up there all afternoon. You shouldn't have a hard time finding someone to give your... I mean take their money, Fred.
PS...Keep that DX Wraith in your bag. They are looooooong. And more overstable than the Pro, CFR, or Star.
