Did anyone see the article today in the Enquirer about the City of Mason going to put in a sport park that will have a 18 hole disc golf course? Just wondered if anyone had input or will in the design?

Here's a link to the srticle: http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060321/NEWS01/603210329/1056 Several GCFDA members asked the city of Mason to include a course within this park. That was a couple of years ago now. Good to see it's still in there! They also had plans for a nine hole course at a park near 42 & Snider Rd. but, with that looming skate park, don't ecpect to see that for several more years.

So the baseball fields will have lights. I wonder if the course will have them.

I think Paul and Russ (and others?) may have gone to a meeting up there.

Yep, Paul,Russ,Dave Marlow,Kap-gun and I attended. This was like a year ago. As far as I can remember the course design they had did not include lights.

That's awesome. I've been hearing about the mason park(s) that are supposed to go in but I thought they had stalled. Did any disc golfers get input on design? This one will be closer to 71 therefore closer to me, booyah.

Drove by the new Biehle park yesterday. The city is still turning soil. They did have the giant ball field lighting fixtures laying out like they are getting close to installing them. No concrete work like roads and parking lots have been done yet.
