If I am not mistaken, the world distance records are pretty hard to set up to break. I don't think just being a PDGA certified official is enough, I think there may be other criteria that must be established as well.
Check WFDF.org I believe they are the ones that set the distance records, and have info on how to break them.

We had 11 ladies show up tonight, including Des Reading, who took the time to play with each group, beautiful weather, it was a great night. Will attach a picture of the group as soon as I receive it. Next week is Boone.

Tonight's ladies league will be held at Boone Woods - 6:00 pm, low turnout expected due to this weekend's tourney and some sore arms, I'll still be there, if only to work on my putting!

Well, unfortunately, the weather isn't going to cooperate with us, chance of rain with severe thunderstorms is 70%, not too good for us, I'm cancelling tonight and hope to see everyone back out under sunny skies next Monday at Woodland Mound!
