Actually, the PDGA is...
When you consider if you had one Am division... anybody with any rating can play in it... that would be crazy for my lowly 883 rating going up against a 93+ rating...
The divisions are there to protect us that suck :-)

If all goes as planned we will be playing on both course each day and will be able to double the amount of players that can participate. So in essence if the PIG fills this year we will have a boat load of people. I would like to add an intermediate division to pull in more people and give more people an opportunity to play, but it will be up the PIG COUNSIL to decide on such issues. As a member of the COUNSIL I will lobby for this change.

I've never played in the Pig before, partly because I already play in 20+ events a year, but the lack of an int. div. has really been the main factor for me to miss it these last couple years. It shouldn't be a factor this year (Hopefully I'll move up after Worlds), but there may be others out there that need that extra incentive to make the trip to the Nati, for what I hear, is always a great event. Regardless of the councils decision and regardless of whether or not I move up, I will definately not miss it this year.

John, I was surfing the treads here saw your post, and was glad to see that you are trying to add AM2 division to the pig this year. Tyler and Chris who are 12yrs and 15yrs were already planning on playing in the pig this year and, adding a lower division would suit them better.

Claire and I are trying to plan a trip back to the nati...... I am lobbying heavily for the week of the If everything works out I should be back to give those am's a run for their money......... Especially if you all let me bag am 2...... My 890 rating plus a healthy knee might just equal a
Just talking....... I'm trying to shake off the cobwebs and be in tourney shape early in stead of (shivering) in the nati
In all seriousness I am digging cali , but missing the nati too.... I am definantly not missing the weather, so it must be hanging out with you clowns...... You know who you are..... Also my two cents on the pig is, right on...... add the divisions.... give people the chance to play who otherwise may not... Let me get a sponsorship flier and I'll pass it around the next contractors meeting I go to and hopefully get some new monies for the pig this year. Will sponsors be on the shirts this year? Do sponsors get a players pack? Is it a tax deduction? Perica....You gonna do the 'bucks travellers this year or just measure taints? and finally....will it be as cool as the Deuce or Die?
