Please note that the pig flyer was updated, thanks to Kevin Brashear for noticing the PDGA fee for non-members was incorrect. It has been corrected and if there is any confusion, it is $10 additional.

I am so bummed that things didn't come together for me to play this year... the format is much improved, and I love that you all are making it bigger and open to more people... It just makes good sense if cincy is only going to have one big event, then everyone should be able to play, and play at their level.... I hope that I get to play next year.... Hello to all my friends out there and good luck... I hope that everyone I won't see at the pig will come out and play the little informal tourney when I get back in town.... I'll be home the first week in september....... I have a thread in the informal events.... when I have a solid date I'll post the info there....

Haha...well atleast you don't have any 10's on your score card! I'll be more then happy to play that Friday, I need to get some rounds in at Mt. Airy just let me know when you will be there.
Does anyone have any idea what the alternate holes are at Harbin?

The flyer says that there is a "mandatory check-in" friday night at Mt. Airy.
So you have to go over there at some point the night before the tournament starts?

It starts on the top of the hill between 4 and 5.
A - top of hill to bottom of hill
B - bottom of hill to top of hill by shelter
C - under tree (by shelter) through gap to other side
D - From other side around gap all the way up through an opening
I know that means nothing to you so... come out for the August 2nd CCS and check them out.

yo brad, i see hole sponsors are only $10!!! that's a steal. how are you going to work that? i think Adam made up some signs the past couple of years using designs people gave him. are you going to do the same or are you going to do what nick did at DOD and put our name on a pre-made sign? let me know. it really doesn't matter either way. you're still going to get some $ from me.

New pig flyer was updated...
due to some scheduling conflicts with Fairfield Parks, the pig has been downsized to just include Airy on Saturday for ALL divisions and Harbin on Sunday for all divisions.
We will be playing 2 rounds of 24 at Airy and 1 round of 24 at Harbin. You can see the updated flyer from the pig page. Please contact me if you have any questions.
The pig is now also capped at 120 players. First come, first serve...

I'm kind of disappointed to see i won't get to play 2 rounds at Harbin if i attend and that i would play 2 rounds of 24 rather than of 18 at Airy. i don't like temporary holes (except the A, B, C & D holes at Harbin which are the permanent Pig holes) because they make the rounds run late. imo 36 holes at Airy on a Saturday is plenty, and while I'd rather play 2 rounds of 18 at Harbin on Sunday -- 1 round of 18 would be better than 1 of 24 if we are playing holes like the normal Harbin 13-17 which are really not PDGA calibre. that said, it is just my opinion. i do think it is cool though that the top Open players will get a final 9... my two cents...

I'm sure it will all work out. It's just going to mean a long day on Saturday with no chance of making it to the Bengals game. Rob, I think you just secured yourself a run of -1 on Harbin 14-17. :)

without playing 24 then the field would also be capped at 90, so they are trying to get it so 30 more players can play. I am all for that:)
