Just want to say "EXCELLENT" job for all those who had anything to do with the Pig. It was a very well run event and I had a great time. Sorry I had to leave early. Thanks to all.

thanks to everyone who helped to make this event run as smoothly as it did. as most already know, I'm leaving soon for Toronto, ON, but will continue to check here to see what I am missing out on. if anyone is that far north and needs a place to stay, let me know.
also, while I have anyone's attention.... some improvements that I would like to suggest are for the GCFDA to have a tourney with more than 2 courses and to have more coolers with water during the summer events.
Much love, Cincinnati.

Thanks to all the TD's and volunteers at the Pig this past weekend. You guys did a great job with this event. Everything went very smoothly. I'd never seen either of those courses and enjoyed them both. It's always a pleasure to come to Cincy and play with you guys. Special thanks to Lee Stephens for your hospitality and kindness. See you all soon.

Looks to me like a shot looking back down the fairway of 3. Pretty sweet how the picture makes that hole look way cooler than it really is...
Also, awesome job Brad, Adam, John and everyone else that helped out, the weekend was great and everything ran super-smoothly.

Great job, Little Flying Piggies; that was a fabulous tourney! A special thanks to Brad for getting my mind right before the last round- 'no bad mojo.' PMA.The weakest part of my game but, so fixable. Now to the equalizer...

A great tourney guys. Didn't the Adv women play the same tees as the adv men? If so their ratings are wrong. Great shooting Discraft players!

You are correct and I checked our PDGA paperwork and we documented as that. We will follow-up with the PDGA on it. Matthew, I will check out your scores, I started those on Sunday night before I fell asleep while updating it. Let me know if you see anything else that looks questionable and I will get on it as I can. Thanks again for all who attended, this was a great learning experience for us and I think we had a good time too. We definitely persevered, even with me snapping 's head off

Hey Brad.. I believe that Jason Anderson shot a 66 the last round. We all appreciate you guys stepping up and running this. I am sure you guys were chopping at the bit wishing you could play!

My pictures from my location on Ten are now on the gallery page. Nice putt on F Blakely, & Dave just wants to show how much fun he had.

Am I reading the results right? Did Karen Farrell pass up $205 and did Jim Ferrara sort of pass up $243, in order to keep their amateur status?

How did Jim pass up cash if he was playing in an amateur division?

he could have cashed in the open division. He would have been 5th which was $225. So in essence he passed up $225 to play in said AM1 division.

Okay, I see what you mean. Typically, someone "passes up cash" if they're an AM who plays Open for the better competition, earns a cash spot, then takes merchandise instead to preserve their status. I believe Jim is still playing AM in PDGA events....I know, splitting hairs.

As, long as we're spitting hairs I passed up tying for first in rec to play Open. :-p Nice job, Jim!

Nothing against Jim because I think he is a great guy and golfer, but there is no pressure like playing in the open division (lead card). So to say that he "passed up $225" is unrealistic because there is no way to tell what he would have shot in that situation.

I have some pics from Harbin on Sunday at my Flickr. Feel free to use any of them as you please.

I've not been able to figure out how to get this to work as a link (wonky message board... it only shows part of the hyperlink and errors out when you click it...).
All I can tell you is to copy and paste the text into a browser window.
