You shouldn't have much of a problem playing it blind. 8 of the holes are completely in the open (some are bordered by a tree line but that's it). The rest wind through the woods. The baskets aren't directly visible from the tee on some of these, but the fairways are very well defined and it is pretty easy to figure out where you are shooting.

If the First tournament goes well, I will need to get more disc's from discraft. Thinking the new Force and some other models. Which model of disc's would you guys like to see?

FLX Drones if you can get them would be sweet, Forces and Bangers are good too.

Can't get Flx Drones, I still have a couple left from before.
JP Did you want one still?
Ken did you want one still?
Brad did you want one still?
Dave H did you want one?
They are $15 dollers for pre-sale. If they are not sold the few that I have will go into the Prize Bins.
I don't think FLX Drones will be made again till later in the year.
I will have Fundraiser Am Nationals Buzz SS's here soon too. They will Probably be $20.

Z SParkle Buzz SS's are in and are sweet. I am really happy with the flight and stability of them. $20 a piece to raise money for the two tournaments. Sponsors get first chance at them!

It looks like the billionaire flutist for Jethro Tull is living in Indianapolis and will be playing Turtlecreek on Sunday; unless, that is a different Ian Anderson. Donovan and I will be there, Matthew.

Hello all, I am just checking in to see if anyone is aware if there is electricity out by the shelter at Turtle Creek. My dad and I are thinking of doing breakfast Sunday since we will not be playing. If anyone thinks they would be interested, let me know. Also let me know about the electricity if you can. We are thinking some biscuits and gravy. Saves everyone the trip to Mcdonalds. Let me know. Thanks, Kindra

Matt and I guess Jeff is interested as well. On Temp Hole B....why did we count that as OB to the right or short of the walking path. Rule 803.04.A.3 states that you must tee off with all supporting points in bounds. You can't throw any shot from out of bounds. I took a stroke or two in penalties there and I don't really care. I heard what the OB was defined as in the players meeting and I still flipped a Buzz over the basket and across the walking path and took my penalty like a man...but I don't understand why the hole was set up like that to begin with.

Also..I had a lot of fun today and thank you Matt for giving your time and energy so that we could have a very enjoyable day outside on such a beautiful day.

There was a drop zone, it was the tee? I don't understand what the issue was here, everyone knew on or across the path was OB and you never crossed in bounds. Pretend you were teeing off across a pond and you never made it across the pond on to dry land, you would re-tee until you did. At the USDGC you had to make it land on an island green or you had to re-tee until you did. The t.d. can make that call if they choose. I didn't hear it, but I would say yelling at the T.D. across the course as they are playing deserves at minimum an apology!

Thanks to Matt and everyone else who helped out, huge payout to all!

There was yelling? I thought that yell of a woman was Alex hitting her ace? :)

Thanks Blakely for a great tournament. As for the temp B hole I guess I don't get what the issue is. To me the OB was easy to see, define and it made the hole a little tricky if you wanted to park your drive near the basket. All anyone had to do was play it safe and stay left of the basket, put your upshot under the basket and take your 3. My 2 cents.

i too fell into hole "b" s trap -- but i also thought about it and realized its the same shot as the swan lake hole at oxford cc -- also, congrats to alex on her first ace -- melinda was in her group and i was a couple of holes back -- had a great time hope to see you all again at the gulley cc --
