Hello, I am coming from Southern Indiana that last weekend of April and I am wondering what the must play courses are in the Cincy area. Everyone I have talked to says Idlewild, so that is definitely a go, what are some of the other courses that the locals recommend.
This is a full weekend trip with about 5-6 guys so we plan on getting in as much disc golf as we can from Friday morning through Sunday afternoon... thanks for any feedback!!
Also what is a good place to camp for disc golfers??

If you hit Idlewild and Banklick on the same day...that'll make a man out of ya. Mt. Airy the next. I'd even do Turtle Creek, Monroe and the Gulley in one day. You most likely will want to play Idlewild more than once thru though. The first time thru you may find your scores a little sickening and the second time thru you may start to figure some things out...and the third time thru you just sit back, relax and enjoy what Idlewild truly is.

thanks guys.. I think we are wanting to stick to the Cincy area, and the KY area, just so we dont waste time rolling...
Banklick looks awesome as well as Mt. Airy and AJ Jolly... good work on the website, it definitely gives me a great idea of these courses!

its nice right on a big lake lots of sites to choose from, never used there showers though. Great Fishing

If you're going to be here in April, Oxofrd is a must play. The scenery, both aesthetic and human, is astounding. The course can be a little tough to navigate if you've never been there before though. I've seen maps of the course; but don't know where to find one.
Is John Kuhns in the house?

Umm, you can find maps of all local courses on the course pages of this website. Good points about Oxford. Hot chicks & maps...

Bigboy is in the house! Yeah, Nengle is right. Go to the GDFDA website and click on the Courses tab at top of page and then click on Oxford and there is a map right there before your eyes. And just remember the hot chicks flock when kuhns is on the course. It's all about the kuhns.

HOWDY! cincy area DGers
Im passin thru next week and lookin to play a couple of your courses on tues 1/29
anyone up for guiding an outta towner...?
HUGE question- Ill have my dogs with me, impeccable golf ettykit BUT are they outlawed at any of the parks? thinkin mt airy, idlewild, banklick specifically................

dogs are allowed on all area courses, but must be on leash.....especially at AIRY(IDLEWILD, and Banklick aren't that strict)
I would be glad to play with ya at Banklick (we are having an Icebowl tourney there on the 2nd if you're gonna be here still)
just reply back with time and date, and I will be there bro!
am laid off from work, so am flexible on the time

well dang that sorta puts the ky-bosh on idlewild then
dogwise maybe banklick 1st leave 'em tuckered out in the van for airy
trying to drive to BG that night, play a couple there the next day
got the PM, maybe its airy for the 3-330ish teetime

Idlewild will open for the Ice Bowl on the 23 of February and open permenantly on March 1. Just testing the waters on erosion control plus we are doing maintainence and reseeding. Thanks for your patience.
