Here is a copy of an email I received from Paul Dumont, for those of you who play in leagues... "I have some sad news to pass along. One of our regular league players passed away this saturday. Karl Coldewey had been in leagues for roughly 3 years now and had become one of the better players. I believe he also attended a number of local tournaments and even came out to support disc golf at couple park meetings. I'm sending this to past league players and others who may have run across him. http://www.evansfuneralhome.com/OBITS/2008-023M.HTM

I would just like to say that Karl was one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. He will be sorely missed at leagues this year.

Even though I have only been in leagues for two years I completely agree with Phil. It was great to talk to Karl after a round. We certainly need to keep his family in our prayers, he was building a new home, and hoping to have a few baskets up.

Always a pleasure to have in the group. A lot of leaguers would go out after the round, but even when no one went, Karl would still meet me somewhere for a cold one. He was just beginning to enjoy his personal best in play and consistency.
