Feel free to list bugs or issues with the site here...
We'll work on them as quickly as possible but also remember that we have to maintain other priorites (like playing disc golf :-) Just joking, but we do have other things on our agendas.
Also keep a watch out for surveys, so we can get your opinions on newer functionality.
Thanks

on the courses page...Boone Woods. Hole 10-18 seem a little screwy to me.
Hole 10 has upper and lower tees with long and short baskets? Hole 11 has two tees or two pin placements? I can see hole 12 having a long tee..but you'd have to go past #6 basket to get 618 feet out of that thing..and the short is NOT 365 unless I got one hell of a sidearm shot. Hole 13 has two placements? Hole 16 is 383? Again..I must have one hell of a sidearm there. Hole 18 is only 198? My right turning Valkyrie must need a lot of work since I'm usually about 10 feet short with a nice pull..but hey..I got a small arm.

distances changed....you may want to set a fixed size for the cells...so they are uniformly the same size and are pleasing to the eye..instead of variable sized according to cell content. Looks kinda junky when one cell is big and the other is tiny...then again I'm not a big fan of showing cell walls either.

Yeah, the current format will have to do for a little while. Working on a better way to CRUD the courses ;-)

Create, Read, Update, and Delete
I recommend MySQL and PHP...wait...you guys are all slaves to THA MAN Billy 'I got your soul' Gates. heh
But seriously. In the future..and I'd be uber willing to take this on myself...I'd like to see a PDGA Course Evaluation style page for each of our courses. Since I'm a math whore by nature...and a stats whore by birth...I could do one hell of a job of quantizing every course. I may have to rely on a few pros for describing a disc selection..but when it came to measuring raw distances vs flight distances... elevation changes of tee , pin, mid point landing zone...elevation of right to left fairway...fairway width...skip factor at landing zone, score deviations from popular errant throws, risk factors of OB's and many more issues..I don't think anyone around has my ability to quantize all this data and display it in an understandable way.

Anyone who has tried to contact the webmaster since site launch (2/16/08) until now (2/18/08 2:40 PM), please try again.
It appears that the webmaster email on the About Us page was not working right. And the contact form was broken too.
We're not ignoring you, we just did not get your email. Anyone that is having problems logging in still for whatever reason, please let us know.

Did you keep the last log on tab that used to be at the top of the page.

At the top of the old page there used to be link(tabs) that let people see what was posted with in 7 days, today, or the last time they logged on.
Top left hand corner of the page.

Zac if you go to Active topics in upper right part of page. It is right under your name near the orange bar. You can click on that then you'll see a drop down bar. The default is 'since last visit' but you can also choose, last day, last 2 days, last week, ect.

I made some substantial performance enhancements to the web site. Hopefully stuff runs a little faster and more stable now. If anyone gets any serious hangs like > 40 seconds, please let me know when it occurred.

Dan, can you make the most recent post be displayed when you click on a thread from overview page? It keeps taking me back to page 1, post 1 and I didn't see any user options to change in my profile settings.

Keith,
The trick is to click on the document icon underneath that last post thread link. It will be colored red if it's a new post or white if not. So it looks like this:
 or
That will take you to the last post of the thread. I too wished clicking the thread link would go to the last post because it's not intuitive to click on that document icon. But I don't really want to get in the habit of editing the source to this forums software. It will become a headache everytime there is a software version update, and I have to rehack the code.

I may be able to make that icon bigger and more prominent. I'll put that on my to do list.

Old polls (prior to this site) were not migrated. So they were, how you say, 'gone daddy gone'

Donovan...maybe you'd like me to set up an IRC Channel so we can all just chat all day long when the weather is crappy. However, I doubt most on this board even know what an IRC Channel is....but once they figured it out...everyone would be there and the **** talk could really hit the fan.

Donovan this is under consideration but there are a few things that we're concerned about. There is no way to moderate the chat and we're concerned the room may be abused. We also haven't found an inexpensive piece of software that has the features we would need.
Not sure exactly what you mean by '(the board) seemz alot less populated now.' It is winter, Sunday, and 5:00pm. The board does slow down a lot during the winter, especially on the weekend.

um moderating the channel would be easy and there are flash applications that link directly to "irc.server.com" it would actually be hosted on ircnet with a html portal .. and folks prolly wouldnt even have to dowload and config irc .. i think its a good idea #cincinnatidiscgolf for the win!
