can u just show up to these things and play or do you have to be part of "bag tags" to play in it? Whats the cost?

Yes you can just show up for bag tags. It is not an elitist group of people like Nick would have you think.

it looks like tomorrow will be another gorgeous day for golf at mt. airy. as always, a 5:00 pm business meeting will be held at the northside tavern before heading out to play. come join in for some lovely early evening action on and off the course.

What are you talking about? College kids drink all the time. You will have your Thirsty Thursdays just not at Northside. Your insight will be missed.

The road is still blocked, and the course is closed...so there will be no tags tonight. Adam is in the process of setting up some cleanup days once hanging limbs have been removed and it's safe for volunteers. Business as usual in Northside.

The course actually is in fine shape. The only downed tree to speak of is on hole 15 and one on 11's tee pad. There's some small stuff down here and there but just sticks to toss into the woods. Now low shots on 15 that are a little left will have a better chance of sneaking through to the green.
There were plenty of people playing there last night. The road along hole 1 is closed though. Parking is available all along blue spruce.

Per Larry P (via Adam J)-the course is open, but there are still some hanging branches. Everyone is asked to be careful out there. We'll give the tags a go tonight.

There will be a change of plans for this week's tags. Given that the Breeders and the National are playing a free show on Fountain Square-along with the fact that Natalie Portman will be there with them to support our next president...tags will be on Friday this week. It's not every day that you get an audience with Kim Deal (bassist of the Pixies/Breeders) AND with Queen Padme Amidala (mother of Luke and Leia Skywalker) all at the same event.
Also, since the stupid seasons have taken away our precious sunlight, we will be having tags at 5:00, and the business meeting at Northside will follow.

Ok Ben I have forgotten when and where we are doing finale for tags. Could you post your thoughts on the subject so I can plan accordingly.
