Yes, sweetriver, you need to find your own partner.
A few notes about this year's Deuce or Die:
-This year we are using the tournament to raise funds for the EDGE program. Check out their website at edgediscgolf.org Our goal is to raise $500 for the charity while maintaining last years Deuce or Die standards for amenities, payout, food & fun.
-Given the fact that this is a charity tournament, the PDGA will NOT be collecting nonmember fees. Entry fees are the same for members & nonmembers alike. The PDGA is also allowing us to donate the $2 per player fee to our charity.
-The GCFDA is sponsoring the tournament by paying for our sanctioning & insurance. They are also sponsoring our PDGA membership raffle. All "never been a PDGA member" players at the tournament will have a chance to become a member for free!
-There will only be one Deuce or Die tournament this year. July 6th at Monroe.
-2008 pint glasses are now available to hole sponsors for a minimum donation of $10.
-We will have the following discs available for sale & in am player packs: Fly Dye Z-Predator Fly Dye Z-Flick FLX ESP Surge SS Ghost Stamped ESP Avenger SS Ghost Stamped Cryztal Buzzz Cryztal Challenger Player pack disc selection is available on a first to check in morning of, first choice basis.

Sure thing, Eric. You can sign up online at DeuceOrDie.com or I plan to attend Monroe Wednesday Doubles & Thirsty Thursday Bag Tags at Mt. Airy every week until the tournament. You can also drop by my house, mail in an entry fee, or I can meet you a Harbin sometime. I wouldn't wait too long though, lots of people out there are formulating teams. Here are a few rumors:
Open: Al-Man & Harrod Advanced: Perica & Kitz, Mr. Shooner & Mr. Nuyttens, JP & Jeff, Sweetriver & Fatty AM2: Donathon & Shope trying for the repeat. AM3: Karen & Alex, Stricker & Olivia
There are a ton more I can think of now.

Also, hole sponsors are starting to roll in. A minimum donation of $10 gets your name on a hole for the tournament & you'll also be the first on your block with the always popular Deuce or Die pint glass.

The pre registered list has grown pretty quickly in the last couple of days. We're now a quarter full. Post here if you're looking for a partner. We're also proud to announce that Glier's Goetta has signed on as a sponsor for the tournament. Look for goetta dogs & goetta burgers coming off the grill as you come off the course. Chef Debbie is excited & ready to work the grill, and Sioux Chef Kimmy is planning at least three sides for the meal. Glier's is the goetta you enjoy at many of the restaurants around Cincinnati and is available at Kroger (another one of our sponsors). Kroger is providing enough bottled water to keep the coolers stocked all day long. Gatorade, chips, candy bars, apples, bananas and more will also be available throughout the course. We've got tons of added prizes already and several CTPs lined up. Hole sponsorship is still available for a minimum of $10. Thanks a ton to those who have donated more than the minimum! This tournament is going to be more fun than Bill Goodman's gun & knife show so call a buddy, bring a friend!

There are a few people out there looking for partners. Adam Jones says he'll play with the highest bidder. Craig Dyke is looking for an am2 partner to win the thing. Gary Pettigrew is lonely because Gary Thompson can't play. I think Donovan was also looking for a partner.
What's going on with the Harbin Rats, Eric? You & Nato? Who else?
Here's the list of hole sponsors thus far. Let me know if you'd like to join the list.
1 Brad Anderson 2 3 4 5 6 Gerry Stricker 7 8 9 Alan Clore 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 Karen Farrell 18 Matt Johnston 19 Abby Allphin 20 Jim Ferrara 21 22 The Shooners 23 Gaehl Hutchinson 24

Sorry Craig...
My PDGA rating is 941 now, but I know my arm should only be rated around 880.
Good luck on bagging.

Ken Donathan will be taking sign ups for Deuce or Die at the CC/BID this weekend. Aside from the Goetta, we are planning potato salad and two kinds of pasta salad. One traditional and one crazy Asian salad with ramen noodles & cabbage. The 'players lounge' will return on hole 17. Plenty of coolers & lawn chairs are planned. EDGE has sent me one CFR Champion Destroyer with their logo on it. It is yellow & 175g. For sale to the highest bidder with all proceeds going back to EDGE. If you're unfamiliar with EDGE check out their website at www.edgediscgolf.org We will have several other ways to support the charity at the tournament. Hole sponsorship is still available. Thanks to Russ Toelke for sponsoring hole 7! Let me know if you like a hole.

Do you have to be member of GCFDA to participate in this event? My cousin and I are wanting to play this, but not sure what you have to belong to or join to play it. Can we just register or do we have to join something?

Membership in the PDGA will save you a few bucks on your entry fee, but it is not required. Membership in the GCFDA is a good thing but is not required either and will not save you any $ for this tourney but WILL save you a few bucks if you enter a local CCS (Course Challenge Series of 9 local course tourneys - see info. on front page) event. Have fun!

PaintBaller4, Bob is right. You do not need to belong to any organization to play in this tournament. We will, however, be raffling off an amateur membership to the PDGA at the awards ceremony. It's a $50 value & comes with a subscription to Flying Disc Magazine among other cool things. I would suggest registering soon though. Let me know if you have more questions.

Don't forget Monday, June 30th, is the last day to sign up & guarantee yourself a players pack. Sign up at www.DeuceOrDie.com or drop me a line by e-mail (NickengleATaol.com) or phone (5133058116). Many thanks go out to our sponsors and Disc 'n Dat has added $100 worth of gift certificates to the mix. Hole sponsorship is still available for a minimum of $10. Each hole sponsor will receive a DoD pint glass. Craig Dyke & sandbagging, they're together again! Check out the preregistered list: http://pdga.com/tournament/tournament_results.php?TournID=7901

I've had a few people ask if they could still sign up & get a players pack. Yes, you can! I'll give players packs to everyone who preregisters! That's just how accommodating Deuce or Die is. So go to www.DeuceOrDie.com and sign up before it fills up. As of right now there are only 19 team spots left.
