Where in Cincinnati does everyone get there discs from. I am still new to the sport, and I would like to try some new discs out. I picked a couple up at Miami Whitewater last summer, but I would like to think there are places I can go with better selection.

The best selection is at disc'n dat. They have a store in Florence KY. There is an add on the front page of this site to disc n dat if you need directions.

Thank you I will check that out. I noticed that they are closed tomorrow. Any suggestions for places that are open on a Sunday.

A number of Dick's Sporting Goods stores have discs. The selection is limited though. May be a bit better than Whitewater.

Oxford has a shop called wildberrys that sells a whole selection of discs, but my buddy told me he went there and it is all Innova, so if you dont mind Innova discs, you can try there. If you live close to Harbin Park, there is an Ameristop right down the street that actually has a fairly good selection of discs. if your new to the sport, they will have what you need. Nice Innova putter, a Champion Firebird, and a Star Sidewinder(It will prevent you from going to far left!) lol

Besides the obvious and best choice for selection of Disc n Dat, I'd like to put out there that the store I work at part time, Benchmark Outfitters in Blue Ash, OH will be getting in discs starting tomorrow from Innova and Discraft. We'll have a good selection- way better than the gas stations. I'm the disc buyer for the store, so I welcome your input. We will also have some Innova bags, towels etc. We specialize in camping equipment, clothing, boots/shoes etc., but I think disc golfers will like our selection of goretex shoes, jackets, and Sealskinz socks. Great store for people who love the outdoors. Its definately worth checking out especially for those of us who live 40 min. from Kentucky.

The Mt Airy Club house will be opening soon(shooting for the end of May). Not only will we have the Mt Airy disc golf course looking better than ever but the club house will be a great place to get all your disc golf gear and you can hang around and watch disc golf videos, take lessons or just hang out and drink a cold one..pop, that is.

Koch's Sporting Goods downtown has some but not a very good selection. But if you're a downtowner swing over to 4th street.

Sweet Tees in Fairfield is a great place to get all your disc needs. Hank has all kinds of discs of all types. Whether its Innova or discraft, he has discs in all different kinds of plastic.

I was at sweet tees today and although there are many kinds of innova discs there not many discraft at all. Prices are reasonable but not the best in town. For recreational players and newbies like me who are going to lsoe and bang up discs i reccomend play it again sports off of fields ertel. they have many kinds of innova discs 7.99, and actually had several champion class discs for 14 and under.

I went to play it again sports and they have DX plastic for $7.99. Sweet Tees has it for $8.49. But wouldn't we want to spend the extra 50 cents to support a local guy and the sport of disc golf? Wouldn't we want to see it grow. Also, play it again sports had 1 champion disc when i went there.
As far as his prices, they are just as good or better than Disc n Dat on Star, Champion, and Pro plastic.

Im not trying to be negative on someone who obviously cares a great deal about the sport. However if you live near the Play It Again on fields ertel it makes more sense economically to go there. They had atleast 5 champion disks when i was there. For a Newbie to the sport they are going to want to find cheap disks, not drive far to get them, and have a good variety to pick from as far as range and model of disk. This forum should be used as a place to share ideas and opinions. In my opinion from all i have seen you wont find a better deal for beginners in that area. If you live near sweet tee's or Mt. Airy it makes more sense to go to those places and not spend $ on gas While supporting honest working locals.

We have had quite a wave of buyers in the past few weeks, we will soon be replenishing Discraft as well as Innova. It comes in phases. Some weeks it is all Innova but we have noticed in last few weeks everyone has been into the Discraft. We do take requests for products so please let us know what you are looking for. Currently our DX are 7.99.

SWEETEES is the bomb. I think he does actually beat that price, or if not he is right at it. Hank either sells his disc at 15.79 or 16.49, something like that. But you are supporting somebody who really helped this game out a lot, in a lot of ways. Does play it again have that going for them?

Best place to get discs? theNatiDiscGolf.com is nice, but for the reckless and daring: Idlewild Pond -- hole 2.
never taken the plunge myself, but there is a ever-replenishing bounty in there folks!
reward for my blue Ron Russell Z Comet -- lost in 2003...
