Last year the GCFDA raised $2700 for the Fairhaven Rescue Mission through it's Ice Bowl events. We've set a goal of $3200 for the 2012 Ice Bowls sponsored by the GCFDA and Disc 'n Dat. We've had one Ice Bowl thus far and have raised over $500. $5 of each entry fee, all mulligan fees, proceeds for the sale of Ice Bowl Fundraiser discs, the Innova Basket raffle and other donations help us to raise money to reach our goal. The GCFDA and an anonymous donor have both pledged $1 per participant in the Icebowls this year. The first round was much warmer than the second, although for both rounds saw their fair share of windy conditions. After the dust settled, we crowned a Champ for the year. David Cox won the Open division with a two round total of 81. Being Winton Woods, you would expect a few aces. We had three. Shelby Campbell hit 11, John Schengber hit 14 and Ian James hit 10.
